These are systemic problems. Alarm bells should be going off for everyone in a position of power within the AD. It is the head coach's job to establish a framework for recruitment and implement a strategy accounting for all possible contingencies. This is the second time in as many years that O has whiffed on available talent while pursuing other talent, only to ultimately come away with neither. That is unacceptable.

I really do feel like I'm dreaming. This guy is absolutely fricking this program up the arse. Corner was one of our biggest needs in this class and we signed ZERO. frickING NONE.

Just really dumb if true because you never turn away a sure thing. Lmao I mean screw Foster because they are always more QB's, but if you got Goodrich then fricking take him. No one saw the Surtain stunt coming or maybe some did, but still most people like me were shocked. We just knew the kid was all LSU. But Orgeron is fricking old enough to know better, he got damn well knows the old adage "A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush".

He was probably told that we were waiting to see what Foster would do before extending him the offer. Chase, Foster Surtain and Joseph were in front of him. In hindsight we should have just taken the first 4 and said f off to the 5th one if it would have come down to that. Problem was we really wanted a QB. Also what if Joseph Foster Chase and Goodrich all said yes first and Surtain would have wanted in.

if we could have seen the future we probably would have. Hindsight is 20/20 especially with this 25 hard limit. You use to be able to over sign and then when they showed up in fall just tell one or two, sorry, no room for you. Or tell them they can take a greyshirt if they want. (remember that center, Porter, Miles did that to. Bama use to always do it.)

It doesn’t mean there isn’t more to the story. Good way to deflect, or maybe take out some anger on LSUs staff for sellIng him short.

Just because Shea or Ross reported what he said, doesn’t mean that’s what happened necessarily. You’d think a group of people who have been deceived countless times by 18 year olds would be a little more skeptical, but whatever. If it fits the anti O narrative it must be true! FTR: I’m totally in for firing O, I just don’t think this is the entire story.
