would've been nice to have, but not necessary with the other DL additions. im sure the staff is looking more into getting the LB situation addressed

We’re all of one fricking spot behind them in the portal rankings. Some of you really work hard at being absolutely ridiculous.

FSU has to throw big money at the portal because they aren’t recruiting instant impact guys like Womack and Perkins to come in and hold spots for multiple seasons.

Have you looked at our portal and HS recruiting rankings over the past 2 years compared to their's? Not sure how you even came close to posting this.

His momma couldn’t even be bothered to put a “T” in his name… don’t need him.

He seemed like a pretty decent depth piece here so not a huge loss but opposite Verse, where most teams will slide a TE over to help out he may have a few disruptive games.

I'd never heard of him before I saw him on our depth chart. Hilarious that any of us would be so distraught.

Lmao just spewing at this point, but you’ve had some outlandish takes…Florida State HAS to attack the portal more than most because their lack of recruiting success compared to an LSU for example. They finished 20th in 2022 and currently at 19th for 2023. They do not have a player with the talent of Harold Perkins or Will Campbell. Verse is a first round talent but there are tiers. They will compete for the ACC throne but they are not on LSU’s level in 2023 and no they do not “stay kicking LSU’s arse”.

In fairness, we weren't recruiting him b/c he was "average at best". Clearly we thought he had talent we could use. The sour grapes flavor here is strong.
On the other hand, we are going toe to toe with FSU in the portal and are doing much better than them in recruiting HS players.

Also depends whom you ask, could be sour grapes amongst some but not everyone shares the same sediment regarding players as well

For many of us, it’s just on to the next. Edmond looked good, but he’s not Harris or Anderson.

Also, after the way Perkins hit with plenty of PT in year one, I’m fully on board with Womack getting plenty of reps early in his career. He’s a potential difference maker up front and as an EE, he could be ready.

1000% this brother, logical and accurate. Womack is looking like one of the very top players in the whole class. He’ll see good action as a true freshman, IMO.

Going back home, not unexpected. I wouldnt sweat this one much, Edmond was not some game changing player or close to it,

But had be committed to LSU, we would have never heard the end of how great he is.

It's all very silly.
