I was responding to someone trolling about his offer list at this point, and attributing getting offered by Troy or schools like Troy to his talent and ability. Hence the comment about Troy and LSU head to head in Tiger Stadium, and where both schools finished last season.

Just because I am a Tiger fan doesn't mean I can't state a fact. Thanks for the opinion though.

What's the fact? Troy isn't LSU. That Saturday night in Tiger Stadium doesn't put Troy on some pedestal, and it doesn't suddenly make Troy some nationally relevant program. What exactly are you insinuating anyway?

I'm even more confused about the "where both schools finished last season" comment.

Where they are now isn't important, their offer list after their junior year would be more accurate.
Walter Peyton went to a very small school....that has ZERO relevance to a conversation of how great hs backs have offers from all the bigs before their senior year.

College football is simply a platform. What an athlete does to improve himself while in college is up to the individual.

I love you and all LSU fans who promote LSU when given a chance. Thank you for that and I respect your position.
Hopefully for Quad, he blows up this summer and earns bigger offers.

Disagreement in these discussions is a good thing and it's what a true discussion really is...and conflicts in opinion follow.
Although I don't agree with his delivery method, I can see eeeeywhere's view as well (not the part about you personally). It's fine that some LSU fans Don't see Quad being the answer for LSU, since his recruitment seems lacking of huge offers at this point in time. If you weren't attached to Quad, you would be speculating the same.

That does NOT mean he won't blow up this summer and prove this wrong. I hope he does because I wish all athletes well who work everyday to get better.
I just hope Quad understands that the offers LSU has out to other qbs right now is because those appear to have performed better AT THIS POINT. I hope he keeps his dreams alive in attending LSU.

helping get kids to college is great i think. nothing wrong with that. just saying i think quad and this thread is a promotional tool.

Also to clarify, I don't own that company or any thing like that. I developed a relationship with the guy that does, and he brought me on his team.

I don't think it's unfair to say that there's a pretty big disconnect between what the 247 and Rivals of the world have on Quad, and the image below. Now they aren't the end-all of knowledge, and maybe this kid has just slipped through the cracks yet. But to be unranked at this point seems a bit suspicious. I know he's supposedly has a ranking and it hasn't been posted yet, so maybe things will start to be public once he makes that 3-stripe camp or Elite 11 qualifier.
