Appears to have a good head on his shoulders
Is it just me or do we have a lot of high character guys committed this year?

What a great kid. Straight to the point not disrespectful at all to the others.

He seems like a smart and likeable dude. Great job by him and his parents.

very nice. I knew I liked him for more than just being awesome on the field.

Such a refreshing interview... It's great to see that not all recruits are about superstar status. I like these high character kids who put their nose to grind and aren't needy of attention.

Like him. But after that conversation . He has greatness in his future.

Wow, honesty...that is sooo refreshing. Is it just me, or does this dude sound way more intelligent than most LSU/SEC athletes? Didn't know much about Garrett, but that made him an instant favorite

Wow. What a high character pick up!!!

Yeah....see I like how he said he did what was best for him. That's what bothered me about TB, when asked he said cause he had a chance to play with CROB, CSIMS, Hootie. Made me feel like he chose Alabama just to play with them, not really cause it's what's best for him.

quote:I see it as some kids/players/people realize with star/superstar status also comes some responsibilities and/or annoyances. Some get it, some don't. We've seen from LF and Brumfield that they get it. There's probably a correlation between work ethic, progress, and "getting it" too.

Wow, was that impressive or what? I will follow his progress at LSU. How refreshing was that? I will be pulling for this young man to succeed.
