Yep. The problem with this is, there is another powerhouse team out there that has consistently kept its staff. Clemson has been able to hold on to their coaches.

You would think with the trending news of Roy to LSU that Alabama would be less confident. So my stupid kind of conspiracy guess is that He will announce LSU on the 26th to relieve the pressure but will ultimately sign with Bama. Bama staff is trusting that he will keep his word and if does we get Roy and we also played LSU, again. Gump arrogance knows no bounds. If Roy pushes the decision date I'll get worried, because that will mean they got to him. If he goes ahead as planned on the 26th, I think he shuts it down and becomes a recruiter for LSU.

Roy said he’s shutting it down after he commits on the 26th. Said he’s tired of the process.

I may get some downvote for this but I think they could care less. Why would a high school kid know or care about the AD? Now, the AD may matter in the process by the amount of money they allocate for recruiting and their first-hand involvement in meetings with coaches. However, the name of the head coach carries way more clout for the hs kid than the AD in my opinion.
