Yeah, that makes it right.

Apparently, what used to be a bannable offense is now an accepted practice here.
People don't realize they are taking money out of these people's pockets.

Taking money out of which people's pockets? Just because y'all are gullible enough to go into your pockets to get info that will hit twitter within moments, that doesn't make the rest of us criminals for sharing it.

Besides, you pay for the "in-depth coverage" not bare bones information.

Get a grip.

Derek of BBI reported that he talked to Fulton's dad this morning and that Kristian will not visit Florida and will be in BR participating in a track meet this weekend.

Exactly. The writers of the story came by the information for free. The owners of the publication/site paid them a pittance of their worth for digging the information up, verifying it and providing context. So ask me if I feel bad about getting the same info for free.

Also, the info provided was little more than a headline. "Fulton may not visit Florida." The vast majority of the time--even on paid sites-- you don't have to pay to read the headline or the lede of the story (which is where the most pertinent information in that story lives. Those of us who don't pay don't have the benefit of additional info or context, but we've got the meat of the story in the first few sentences.

So spare us the sanctimonious indignation, fellas.

Lol at "insider info" and people thinking what is being provided warrants a pay subscription. I'm not knocking the work that goes into providing this info, I'm knocking what is considered insider info about highschool boys. 90% of what I read is guys lobbing darts and praying something sticks and then trumpeting how they were right. It's all convoluted. Even the people with "insider" info are wrong too often. It's a shite show of an industry totally built around showering young kids with huge egos with praise and adulation. I have no doubt that guys like Jimmy and Shea and a few others are workers and communicate with these kids regularly but I think even they will admit that kids are kids and that is the industry they are in. They play games and change their minds often. sorry if I seem cynical but I just can't feel bad about failing to monetize the whimsical opinions and intentions of highschool kids. I like seeing film and maybe hearing an interview or two just to get an idea what kind of kid they are. It's all too flimsy for me to feel like it's worth a subscription. To each their own though
