Personally this kid made a show of his recruitment and left LSU at the last minute. I don't feel bad for him. If he couldn't get his shite together at Texas he sure couldn't at LSU.

not necessarily... I was wanting him 2 yrs ago (not quite drooling) and would love to give him that 2nd chance at LSU, IF we had room on the scholly limit. We don't, so it's all moot.

Can room be made? For 85, yeah. But not for his position and with the risk (that he'll stay within the lines and/or grades). I can't see processing what we have right now for him. And that's just the way it is.

If for some reason other than LSU processing him a OLB leaves. Yeah, go for it.

Has nothing to do with what's going on today with him, zero! Fowler left LSU in a bad spot at the LB position flipping to Texas in the 11th hour! Screw him! Let him go to SF Austin or another FCS school.

Many think that Fowler didn't want to go to Texas and surrendered to Mom's wishes at last minute.
What if that is true?
It sounds plausible to me that he was behaving like an 18 yr old who didn't want to play for Texas.
This is surprising?
Like shows a disqualifying character defect?

Not at all. BUT, but I would sure hear Erik Fowler out, and he would need to come clean and explain what happened and have a believable apology and come with humility, openness and honesty(ie.good character) and if I believed it was heartfelt, then I would certainly consider taking him. My hurt feelings has nothing to do with it, but can I trust him.

They do that with every player that shuns LSU. The gobble down until they commit and go somehere else. Tony Brown, Eddie Lacy, Cam Robinson, and all the others suck major arse!

Did you ever do major stupid things as a teenager? Call it what you want, but sometimes second chances turn out well.

Yep. And with Fowler here, does he even get moved? Does he transfer? Does Fowler transfer from here if white starts ahead of him?

I like where we ended up...but I absolutely want quality backups at ever position. If arranda wants him, I would too
