It would be retarded to turn down a good player because " he had his chance ".
We are currently over the 85 scholarship limit - need more attrition to get to 85. And you want to pull another scholarship from someone who has committed to LSU, put in hard work, and been an integral part of our team to take this guy? #shortsighted

He'd count toward another class, no?

85 is a hard rule, cannot be exceeded. Someone would have to be shown the door. Nothing to do with what class he would count against.

Stupid post. Just a stupid arse post!
Couldn't get on the field for one of the worst defenses in the nation plus attitude problems. I'll pass.
I'll roll with Phillips, Taylor, queen, chaisson, Anthony, white, divinity, Thornton, Adam Anderson, Clark and Baskerville

This is major college football , it's a big business and should be treated as such. I can assure you that if O thought this kid could help him win a championship then he would do whatever he had to do to get him on if he wanted to come here.

And for a kid who pulled the old signing day switcheroo after telling the coaches he was coming.
Players of course can choose where they want to go, but when they handle their recruitment in that manner, I doubt many schools that were spurned like that would welcome the player with open arms.

Kid had 1 tackle in 9 games, barely qualified for college, has academic concerns in freshman football curriculum and is put off by a new staff wanting him to work his butt off to earn playing time. You are right this is big time football, therefore pass on Fowler.

Word is he was constantly late for or missed team meetings. It's seems like immaturity or maybe he really didn't want to be at UT but family pulled him back.

I remember watching that BS at NSD. Our coaching staff was surprised to see him flip because we were holding a scholarship for him and we got burned. Frick that guy

Kid never wanted to be at Texas but was too much of a MAMMAS BOY to make his own decision. Maybe he finnaly grew a pair
How many 17 year old kids aren't mommas boys?

It's not a feelings issue, it's a character issue.

So then you're opposed to LSU being on the good end of an 11th hour flip?
