Probably not.. We want high character guys to supplement through the portal and build with HS kids. Don’t need any malcontents.

In the current climate, I would only approach first time transfers; the rest probably will not be approved.

We need to upgrade overall team speed. I've noticed we can't even turn runners in at the edges like we used to. Now we just wave bye bye as they fly by. This is the slowest overall LSU defense I've ever seen. Add in poor angles and bad tackling... Goodness gracious!

The tiger defenders take bad angles and get out ran or shielded off by one blocker most times

Sure, but it's one thing to discuss players LSU is recruiting and what our chances may be to get them, etc.
It's another thing to just pluck a random name out of the air with no connection to LSU and no idea if LSU is even aware of his existence.
You are free to do so, of course, as I am free to think it is stupid.

Who cares what he was rated in high school 4 years ago? His play has proven that was vastly overrated.
I'd rather an unranked player who has crushed it elsewhere and proved he is overlook. See, e.g., Jared Verse.
