Nothing about Stingley makes me think this DB Class is shaky.

I'm not worried about this. We'll get enough solid corner prospects in this class between Flott, Jones, Ward, Christian Williams.
Also, there could be some other names that shake out in January.
It could also be that Flott is just creating some drama ahead of Wednesday. That seems to be pretty common these days.

He still might sign on wednesday according to 247. Baseball coaches are trying to make sure that happens.

Flott should be careful.

Also Hampton has been committed for 2-1/2 years. I’m worried about the MLB, not another school.

I kind of hope he doesn't sign. If he is drafted as high as reports, he is going baseball and if he signs LSU loses that scholarship. I think the NCAA screwed the pooch with this rule. I understand why they made this rule. Teams were bringing in players and after one year if that player didn't turn out to be as good as advertised their scholarship wasn't renewed and they could make it up by over signing. But this rule should only apply if the player starts classes, not just sign LOI.

I dont disagree with you but what is our course of action regarding that? Do we leave the spot open hoping he signs and if not use it on a transfer or do we allow him to sign and chance losing the spot? Dicey game there.
Flott can bounce if he wants. Jones is better, the juco kid we like helps sooner and Ward is at least in the same level. Im all for Flott being in but hes not good enough to dictate. In, fine. Out, we will get somene equal or better.
