Is anyone else surprised that florida is finishing so strong with all the uncertainty with meyer. shariff floyd, powell, easley, elam, etc. pretty strong group. i was really hoping for a complete meltdown on their end.

Seeing how well LSU did after winning the NC, it doesn't surprise me. Bama should challenge for #1 overall next year. Meyer may be taking a break from coaching but his presence should be enough to convince kids. Kinda like the Bowden transition to Fisher.

Bama will lose 3 next year...

Oh, and I don't like Bama...

I myself was kinda shocked after UM's current events, that we didn't have any recruits bail. In fact, things seemed to take off from there. Word on the home front is that we still haven't finished this class out yet.

ya'll haven't... Kyle Prater may be looking elsewhere and word is Notre Dame and Florida would be his top 2 if/when Carroll leaves...

Personal I think Meyers is done. I think he is stringing the recruits along so they can get them and set the next coach up. One of the recruits at the Army game said he believes in Meyers and has faith in him that he was basically telling him the truth about coming back. Can't blame him for the tactics, but I believe that is why he changed his mind.

your guess is as good as anyone else's... nobody knows exactly what's going on with him...

kinda shitty of him to string these guys along, but under the circumstances, i wouldn't expect anything else from someone like that...

X, I like your style, but personally I was thinking about Jordan Hicks and we're still in it for Jackson Jeffcoat I just found out.

think meyer is done too. He won't change the way he works, so the only solution is to leave after signing day and come back to start the season. I don't think he can keep doing that every year.

The fact is, no one knows for sure what coach meyer is going to do but him. I know that the are alot of schools that HOPE he's done, but nobody can say for certain. I'm sure pete carroll told every kid he recruited that he would be bolting for the NFL 1 month before signing day.

I'm very surprised. If the reports of his bad health and the cause are true, the guy has to step away. They recently replaced both coordinators, so it's not like they have a HC in waiting. How does a recruit walk into a situation like that unless they are a diehard gator fan?

Not that I put much faith in it, but according to the insider boards at InsideTexas.com they're both heavy Texas leans. But like I said I don't put much faith in that, their job is to make Texas supporters happy.

Atari, UF boards are now saying that Hicks's mom likes UT, so you may be on to something there. We shall see.

I would find Jeffcoat to UF VERY hard to believe.

The USC meltdown might put UF's class into the all time great catagory

Jeffcoat would seem like a longshot, but he was quoted saying UF is very much still in it.

I know.........sometimes it feels like it though! I just hope he is "recruited" back to where he originally committed.
