Ask 99% of LSU posters about Moffit and they will tell you that he trains Chuck Norris.

bro, Bama's S&C Coach trained under Moffit.

So did Florida St's, and a few other schools as well. A lot of former LSU S&C coaches are now running their own show at other school.

Moffitt is 1 of the best, if not the best, strength and conditioning coach in the nation. He could go to the NFL if he wanted to and do great there. Hasnt lost his touch at all.

What if the players got lazy and didnt do all the workouts they should have?? Skipping out on workouts/ doing them half arse when nobody is watching is pretty easy.

I have not read the thread but I assume it has been pointed out that Bama's S&C coach is a Moffit understudy.

I feel like the main reason we've seen this, at least for the two games against Bama last season(didn't notice it this year), was our offense barely put together anything that could be called a drive. Thus, our defense was on the field most of the game. You can't expect them to hold up for 70-80 plays.

The Bama team that was gassed in the 4th against us? That we pretty much pushed around the 2nd half?

That was pretty much manhandled by A&m?

Your thread sucks.

I feel like year in and year out, LSU players look less srong and a bit more winded as the game goes on as compared to Bama.

We were wearing Bama's D out in the 2nd half this year.....

Not sure what game you were watching

feel like LSU defensive players look like they are hitting an iron ball when they play Bama and this difference feels even more apparantly by end of 3rd quarter (for obvious reasons)as compared to when they play other SEC teams where they look like they are equally matched or more physically fit

last year Bama was worn down by the end of the game in BDS when we won.

this year we smashed the shite out of them in the second half. It wasn't fitness that loset the game for us, it was McCarron getting hot at the right time and picked apart the soft spots of the defense.

Not sure where you are coming from with your observations, tbh.

To me it seems more of our guys cramp up than should. Normally that's either exercising beyond your fitness level or poor nutrition, or a combination of both.

Otherwise Moffit is the best around, and I agree that our team year in and year out tends to wear people down in the 3rd and 4th Qs. No way I'd trade him for anybody

I saw a lot of hands-on-hips action when Bama was getting schooled by A&M. I disagree with the OP's premise. LSU players' fitness is second to none.

Moffitt has actually been cited as a huge reason that the SEC has risen to prominence in the past 10 years. All of the top SEC teams emphasize strength and conditioning, and have an expert on staff, and pay them much more than other school do. And that's because of Moffitt.
