I just know money talks and Saban is desperate right now. I hope Frank doesn’t give in.

Frank was the OPerry Walker coach and he had three top prospects on his team. All were going to Miami and Saban promised him the running backs position coach if he got all three of them to LSU. Well, all three signed with LSU and Saban basically told Frank to go fly a kite!

Gotta love some Buster Davis

Unless Saban got on his hands and knees and apologized and kissed Frank squarely on the arse, I don't see Frank working for Saban.

He also tried to hire him, after Frank left Tennessee and Frank told him no and came here. Saban screwed him big time. Franks hasn't forgotten that.

Buster was fearless over the middle. Surprised he didn’t have the career I thought he would in the nfl.

I remember Saban and Burton Burns recruiting LA hard for years. Since BB is no longer with the FB team (Asst AD), Saban needs a new BFF to chauffeur him on recruiting visits.

2 years after Kiffin coaches a SEC game that school will be on probation. Assuming the NCAA is even still around .

That 2002 OP Walker team was so damn loaded. They have to be one of the best teams I've seen to not win a title.

Could you imagine being 28 in your chosen profession and going from making a teacher’s salary, to $410,000, to over $1.5 mill. In about 3 years? What an Unbelievable rise by this guy.

hat said, Saban has to be concerned about where things are heading and he could use help in NOLA. I've said for years that Alabama HAS to recruit out of state and they have relied heavily on Louisiana recruits

They have he # 2 or # 3 cladepending on who youbelieve so why is he worried.

Other than Cam Robinson name another Saban recruit from LA who would beenn upgrade to the position over those LSU signed .Devontae would be in the rotation but would not start over the current receivers. Maybe Moses but no sure thing. Shyheim could not crack the DBU ineup. Mathis and Sopsher would be down the depth chart. irvSmith was not pursued strongly by Miles and would not have been utilized in the prior offense.

None of them would choose to go back to working under him again.

That is completely true. Unless we ignore:
Steve Sarkisian
Sal Sunseri
Bobby Williams
Will Muschamp
Derek Dooley
Jeremy Pruitt
and Kirby Smart

But other than that, you are absolutely correct.
