Yep, LSU would just need to hire some extra assistants that could keep Evans entourage in check. This is nothing & can be done on a small budget similar to that of the womans sand volleyball team. Maybe limit his Entourage's appearances inside the locker room to before & after games ONLY. Concessions will have to be made on the team rules we have in place now (maybe he gets a secret list showing which rules we consider minor or major). What you DONT want to do, is to start out on the wrong foot with Zachary and have him mad at us before we even start the spring.

LSU was 5 wide many times.

I can't remember a single instance we've gone 5 wide with all 5 being WRs. It's always CEH, Moss and 3 WRs.

In 2021, we will have:
Palmer - Junior 4/5*
Lee - Junior 4*
Jenkins - RS Junior 4*
Moore - 4* Sophomore
Boutte - 4/5* Sophomore

If we sign 4 guys next year, that's 9 scholarship receivers in 2021. That's the exact number we had this year.

Also, by all accounts, Kole Taylor is basically a jumbo receiver.

Anyway, like I said earlier, I'd have preferred to sign 3 this year, but I don't think we should reach just to fill a spot.

Sad part is if he signed with LSU tomorrow everyone talking shite would be upvoting.

I don’t think so at this point. Not after all the drama and reports of his issues in high school. If he somehow ends up with us I’ll cross my fingers, but I’m glad he’s likely gone. I would rather have another back who is in the ballpark and has his head on straighter.

If all 3 signed you'd have been ecstatic.

Well, Rak didn’t act a fool until the very end of his recruitment, and that was just recruiting drama. Burton’s recruitment was dramatic because no one could figure him out and the whole family dynamic with his Mom. That isn’t because of him. So sure, I wish they were both here.

Not Evans. He’s in a different class and we don’t need head cases.

If all 3 signed people would have been stoked, but because they didn't, we start the "dodged a bullet" talk.

Well, we’ve been here before. Remember 2 for 5? We were all mad after and we all wanted all of those guys, but LSU did legitimately dodge bullets there and came out a lot better in the end. That hasn’t been forgotten, except maybe by you, the self-appointed board contrarian.

Where as I do not share your Sinicism with the situation, I totally appreciate your delivery of how you feel. Really great

He reminds me of Tyler Shelvin....trouble making the grades....right now Evans doesn't have a qualifying ACT SCORE..head case when it came to just how good he was...but if Evans gets his shite together like Tyler Shelvin has done he's going to be a beast of a player...maturity cures alot of past mistakes!

If he doesn’t have the grades he may not even get into Texas A & M.

Say the opposition has a 5”9” Corner we will just put Gilbert on him. Gilbert will line up everywhere.

This kid appears to be a train wreck. IMO, not worth risking a scholarship on when you have incredible backs like Gibbs that come with no baggage. Let him become someone else's problem!

The talent level is high, so is the competitive streak

I would say this is false if you can stay focused enough to play in your championship game.

This kid would be nice for our recruiting rankings but if even half the shite I have read about him is true he would be bad for the team. We are building a winner, not a pool of individual talent

Yes
Chase
Jefferson
Marshall
Moss
CEH usually started in the backfield and would move out to see what defense they were playing. Zone versus man. Sometimes he would stay out. Others he would move back in.
