You post this like I'm on this board all day long crying about wrongdoing on the part of instate recruits that don't come here. Don't lump me in with others

I wasn't meaning to lump you in with others, I just meant it as a general statement. I understand that this might be different and frustrating, but I also understand that it could be completely on the level and St Aug could have the a pro LSU coaching staff and he could still wind up at Bama because of Burns and their recent successful RB's.

He always appeared pretty pro-LSU before this went down. Just my outside opinion though based on reading updates since the change and the talk from some of the more knowledgeable recruiting people out there.

Not to say I won't be mad/disappointed if he picks someone other than LSU But I'm trying not to get emotionally involved based on his/or any other kid's decision of college.

Damn I hope he becomes a tiger.

Yeah Torshiro Davis' guy is all about him some LSU.

I have never said there wasn't shady stuff that goes on and that there are not people working against LSU. Simply that his primary job is to win games for St Aug and that would be his main focus, not screwing LSU. Coaches and players have different priorities than fans.

I know it's not a big state and St. Aug is certainly a more high profile job (historically speaking) but still a little odd to see this guy go from Shreveport to New Orleans like this.

There's that latent parinoia again

According to this he worked with Crutchfield at Port Sulphur and interviewed at OP Walker before taking the Woodlawn job. It also says he coached at Bastrop. I think his time there was when we got Benton and Aubrey.

Also I know he was arrested for slapping a student. I'm not sure if he was formally fired or "resigned" but maybe he wanted to get out of Shreveport.

Appreciate the link. Davis' recruitment is too fresh in my mind though for it not to affect me.

You guys are making this much more than what it needs to be.

If the kid wants to go to Bama, let him. If he goes, the only reasoning he's going is because he wants to leave the state.

I've said it 100 times. There's absolutely nothing Alabama offers that LSU can't. If he spurns LSU and his home state, that's on him. LSU will find another blue chip RB and replace him. Sure, Fournette is good but LSU is capable of finding someone that is just as good and if Fournette is better, he's not THAT much better for it to show on the field.

I'm done with wondering where these position players are going. The most important recruits you can find will be in the trenches. Land top guys there and you can find skill players just as good or better than what Alabama lands.

If he goes, stay gone and LSU will find someone as good or close to it.

Well, according to the article, why wouldn't he want to leave the state. The bullets never stop flying, and people in New Orleans shoot each other just to do it. Disregard that he doesn't actually live in New Orleans, only pay attention to the shitty, skewed journalism.

Well I think Burns is the much bigger threat, especially considering the success they've had with Ingram and Richardson.

My daughter could have had sucess with those two!

I especially enjoy the part about him smiling and how it must mean that he is thinking about his future in Tuscaloosa. Is the hack that wrote this shite also a partime psychic. Alabama has a team of fricking psychics guys, we sure are screwed now.

Regardless of what happens with Fournette, the day he signs, all attention will turn to Brossette and people will be just as uptight about whether or not LSU signs him.

Point: He's just another very good back in a state that produces a ton of 'em. Crutchfield says he comes once in 20 years. ... for him, maybe.

Les is going to sign his backs and use a stable. That's a good approach and will be true Fournette or no Fournette.

I don't think their recruitments will be similar at all. For one thing, I know Brossette's coaches have more integrity than to steer a kid to any school.

Who said we wouldn't be alright? Voicing our displeasure over one of the better instate players and the coaches at his high school helping push him to Alabama and/or Texas is permissible conversation on the recruiting board.
How many posts will it take for you to finish "voicing"?
I too have a right to my opinion and I posted it.
Not my fault you are acting like a huge vagina...
