You give Nussmeier a good O-line, my goodness...
With his mobility, ability to throw on the run, and aggressiveness...
Receivers better be in top shape because that would set up for a lot of running on some long plays (in terms of time and yards).

agreed, Howard is an elite athlete as well. Future is bright still but the short term will get muddy

Sure we have spots and they can start immediately but there's zero development.

Lol this is false and nothing more than an overreaction to two games.

We played 10 games last year with the exact same Oline (sans Rosenthal) and they weren't good at all as a unit.

You say this like it's nothing.

We lost our best offensive lineman from last year and changed coaches right before training camp and you expected to see a drastic improvement in the line play?

You will probably confirm your reputation, by season end.
The OL Coach has had no opportunity to develop the talent.

Any competent Oline coach can get an SEC line ready against a team like McNeese. There's zero excuse for that performance... UCLA, Bama, AU etc yea he needs time probably but an FBS Dline (which isn't a good defense on paper so far) abusing our Oline is flat out inexcusable.

If Davis is as good as some of y'all think he would have an Oline ready to go against these inferior opponents. Maybe not perfect but not what we saw last weekend.

So our new oline coach can't develop?

He has a small resume but while at mizzou he did a really good job in his 2 seasons. They ranked top 10 in sacks allowed back to back.

I believe we have way better players than mizzou so something is off.

Even with back ups we should see some improvement against FCS schools like mcneese but we didn't.

He was hired mid-offseason. he's not a magician. They need time to learn his scheme and jargon. The Oline will improve throughout the year.
