They can intend to keep him but other teams will come after him, hopefully us. Move Lindsey to analyst for optics and hire Robinson.

Do we really know the new coach will keep him?

Or maybe they’re simply taking a wait and see approach with the hire

I've been saying I don't see all these players flipping from a&m to lsu.

Many on here hinted it would happen.

Lsu should've been throwing everything they have at reilford. Miller and Bussey were always Longshots.

LSU landing Elite players on Defense is like pulling teeth right now.

Since when is Robinson in charge of AggieLand Credit Union? If those guys stay it will be for one reason, and that reason will also be the reason they don’t stay. Don’t be obtuse

Not as easily done as said.

1. There is a contract in place that would have to be renegotiated. Assuming, of course, that Lindsey would be unable to fulfill his obligation under said contract due to health reason.

2. Assuming Lindsey is amenable to such a move, same would come with a huge cut in pay for Lindsey. No college is paying $600k annually for one analyst. Total shadow staff salaries are in the $600k neighborhood.

examples of analyst salaries at the high end of the spectrum:

Gary Patterson analyst salary = $150k, per attached article from the Austin Statesman.

Gary Patterson analyst Salary

quote from article:

"Patterson’s salary is far greater than what typical offensive or defensive analysts make. Those positions usually get $25,000. Former head coaches typically like those roles just to receive health benefits while they recharge for another opportunity."

The $25k is on the low end of the spectrum and $8ok is on the high end of analyst pay spectrum for the vast majority of analyst salaries. Of course, there will be outliers like Patterson and Leonhard.

Jim Leonhard's analyst salary at Illinois = $112k per attached article from BadgerExtra.com

Steve Sarkesian made $35k and Butch Jones made $30k per year as analysts at Bama.

Will be a giant failure if we don’t pull any A&M recruits

It's funny when people think ANYTHING but the bag is getting/keeping kids in that cult.

And now we know why Sark got off the juice. This is how Saban rehabs these coaches...

We will see... One of their DT's is visiting Florida this weekend and many believe he could flip

So he’s thinking of going from one shite show to another where the coach is likely to be fired next year? Smart kid……

No it won’t. It will just mean they got paid.

We already flipped Weston Davis. I think we have a very good shot at Gabe Reliford.

McKinley- just not interested
Bussey- wants to be at A&M
Miller- wants to be at A&M

I’m fine with all of that. But we need to empty the bank for Reliford.

Reliford is the one that hurts the most but LSU can only blame themselves. They waited too long to offer and have been playing catch up ever since.

Believe it or not but money hasn’t been theme for why LSU has been losing these recruiting battles to A&M this cycle. Aggies have done a better job of building relationships and flat out beat LSU head to head.

We flipped Weston but that’s only because of Brad Davis. He never let up on Weston and recruited him like he was a committed here and it paid off in the end.

Yes…I don’t care what kind of relationships are built. They have a weak nfl pedigree, a poor development rate, and no trophies.

Dudes are only going their for money.

They’ve been average to below average since before WWII. They’re going thru a coaching change. Aggy cannot sell pedigree nor coaching stability.

Keep believing that their class is from “coaching relationships.” Relationships with cold hard cash. I’ve got some beachfront property in Nebraska that I’d love to sell you
