...that he thought Ronnie Jackson (3 star RB) out of Edna Karr would end up being a better back than John Emory in college. Seems crazy to me but does anyone else believe that or is he just trying to sell subscriptions?

I heard that. Never heard of the kid, but he does look like a big/strong kid in his highlights

I’ve never seen Ronnie Jackson highlights or even heard of this kids name, and I’ll tell you Emery will be better.

I know some kids are lower ranked because of team, the class they play or lack of camps, but I don't see anything amazing about him. Spivey looked better and so did the Texas kid we were looking at (forgot his name).

Yeah him. Thanks.

He would be a nice pick up if the others fall through.

I think Lee also has said that Ray Parker and Kardell Thomas are destined for the NFL HOF

I used to work for him. He's actually a nice guy and knows his stuff.

+1 on both accounts. But I think he’s gone a little far out on the edge in some recent declarations

Yeah I agree. If Emery never comes around, and Cain chooses Texas, is try and get Glass.

If that came from anyone else but you, I might believe it.

I sat next to Lee during the 07 championship game. I was smashed and kept putting him in a choke hold every time we scored. Good times...

Emery is a special talent. Anything can happen; everybody's crystal ball is cracked and cloudy. But his talent is undeniable, today, right now.

I find it hard to say anyone outside his peers will be better. It's just too much of a stretch, not because they suck but because he is just that good.

Small world Laman...I used to work with Lee too when I was a young guy.

Helped him start LA Football Magazine actually.

When did you work with him?

Awesome. You know what I'm talking about then. I worked for him in the 2010-2012 timeframe. I worked mainly helping him put together his regional recruit packages. I drove around from highschool to highschool collecting information, such as 40 speeds, bench press, squat, height, weight, preferred colleges...etc. I also filmed a different highschool game every Friday night. I met a lot of coaches and very nice people. Some high schools were much more receptive than others. I really appreciated Zachary quite a bit. They got me a comfortable chair in the booth to sit in, free food, free drinks, locker room access...etc. East Feliciana had a very cool coach. He talked with me about 30 minutes during a practice. I kept pounding it in his head to push Beckwith to LSU! LOL

just watching film, there is a clear difference in their talents

not that Jackson isn't good. But he doesn't see the field like Emery.
