Now you dont sound so cock sure.

Sanctions coming....how many have asked to be released from their scholly? Wouldnt you know?

NCAA would let them out of scholly with no eligibilty issues if sanctions were coming.

You don’t post enough for me to get into this with you, because when it does happen you will be nowhere to be found. Guarantee that, hoss.

So LSU is/was under investigation, and could be/will be hit with a NOA. How does that differ from the Memphis/Wiseman situation?

I think the LSU stuff is a little further along. He’s just there a year.

Why is Greg Heiar going to East Tenn St?

Lol right now, really?

To not even be a frickin head coach ?

You are dopey enough to believe that he has a better path to a HC gig at ETS than at LSU

Said no coach ever.

Ezewiro is a totally separate situation from Cisse. Not related at all. Instead of coming to LSU and redshirting he is gonna go to a prep school and play against good competition next year. He needs it. He didn't play much at all this past season.

Memphis is still in trouble. A separate governing body that is not affiliated with the NCAA is gonna decide their case plus Kansas and NC State. Once those verdicts come down there is no option to appeal like with the NCAA

Never could understand you people. Why aren't you a Memphis football fan, and an LSU basketball fan? Who is your lacrosse team, John's Hopkins? Lesbian basketball team, UCONN? Track team Arkansas? I'm all LSU. Always will be.

Heiar took a job at ETSU because he should have been a HC by now but wasn’t getting offers because schools are worried about the Wade stuff. It doesn’t mean LSU is definitely in trouble, but he left because he needed to if he wanted to get a HC job somewhere. He’s highly regarded as an up and coming coach and is a big loss for LSU.

going from the top assistant on a top 25 program who is recruiting STUDS every year to East Tennessee St is not how you maximize your exposure as an assistant coach.

A huge part of being a successful coach is recruiting.

If you believe taking a HUGE step down helps his profile, you are ignorant. This is not even a lateral move lol.

Now if he is looking for somewhere...anywhere, to get out from what might be coming to LSU, that makes a lot more sense. Would I be as certain if this just happened in a vacuum...Prob not. But with the Cisse stuff, and Vitale being adamant that something is coming, be real.

I know everyone wants to look at this as fans...C'mon. that makes ZERO sense.

Heiar could have left because over time he and Wade just didn’t see eye to eye anymore. That shite definitely happens.

Makes sense to lose Cisse to Memphis during COVID when he’s stuck there.

The only question is Vitale and his sources which have, to this point, been dog shite. I mean, Vitale is the guy that said an NOA had already been delivered to LSU.

So yeah, maybe you’re right that they are all related - but each can be explained away individually as well.

If you want my take, I think Cisse was all LSU and held out for more. Penny is a dirty arse recruiter as well. It’s a dirty game and I think there’s a bidding war going on. Let the down votes commence but I wouldn’t be surprised. I wouldn’t be surprised for him to flip back to LSU late if we pony up.
