This was one of the best narratives for the hire LMAO

Ed O is a great recruiter for established head coaches.

That's a pretty big statement from losing one defensive back. It probably doesn't take too much to make you cry

It's easier to recruit when the head coach is a proven winner.

Some people are Chiefs and some people are best to remain Indians. Its the assistants jobs to recruit kids and the head coaches job to close them. Les was gold at closing kids in home. O not so much.

It’s different when you’re in charge of the entire program.

Definitely. The ONE thing that got me on board with the O hire was that he was supposed to be this great recruiter. That is a myth, apparently.

The only real strong point of this staff are the guys that Miles had brought in. Aranda and Raymond made LSU pay out the WAZOO to keep them. In what way, shape, or form has Coach O made LSU better then from Miles regime. The only thing even keeping O afloat are the coaches Miles brought in.

You don’t even have to be a proven winner, just don’t be a proven loser like Ed

CEO might be a nice guy but he was hired to save money. The admin didn't want to 'pay' for a top tier HC and staff.

The money the football team makes is being spent in other places and probably benefiting the admin and politicians.
