I'm Calling BS on the reason he switched to Bama was because Miles was fired. If coaching was the reason, then explain why he would'nt want to play for the best defensive coach in the country? And don't say Saban is the best defensive coach in the country, and maybe he is, because that would have been his reason for going there to begin with.

I think he just used Miles' firing as an excuse to decommit. Gave him a good out.
I think this visit is a free trip home to have a little fun and appease Coach Raymond et al.
It also helps LSU's staff to the extent that they can say they did everything they could and went down swinging.
LSU's staff...maybe more so than others...seem to think they have better chances than they actually do on some kids. Hence why LSU insiders that get recruiting info straight from coaches are wrong as often as they are.
Coaches say they "feel really good" or "we got him wrapped up" or "we're gonna flip him" and they believe they will.
Until they don't.

He committed to bama because he was hedging his bet and to see how the future of LSU was shaping up.
He doesn't need a free trip (his family is well off).
They are going after the number one defensive recruit in the country and so they should!
LSU just signed one of the greatest defensive minds in college football so I would say they do have a more than average chance of pulling him to LSU!
Dylan can come in and start from day one win all the awards he could possibly want then start his NFL career at an early age. We all know that an NFL career is very short and the quicker/younger you start it the better.

Except he decommitted before Miles was fired. So, no.

...and he remained uncommitted until shortly after Miles was fired, when he promptly declared commitment to the Crimson Turd.

I tend to agree that he saw Bama's class filling up and was unsure but committed to save his spot just in case that's where he eventually decided to go. Not saying I think he ends up with us, but I think it's very much up in the air right now.
Also, can you imagine how huge it would be if he flipped at the very end? It would be SO huge and he would go down in tiger lore as one of the biggest recruiting wins/flips/commits ever. This board would absolutely blow up! He could go to Bama and get lost in the LB numbers OR flip back to us, play earlier, become a hometown legend, and play for the best DC in college football. I think we have a great pitch, hopefully it's executed well and we get Dylan.

Moses is 100% going to Bama. He's just saying his official goodbyes and enjoying the hospitality because after this weekend he's done with LSU for good. No idea why some of you actual take the bait with this kid.

I truly believe this....
Dylan Moses was all LSU for a while. After watching his home school put a poor product on the field for three straight seasons, I think he decided to open things up.
Bama doesn't have to have a great recruit long staff, because winning is the biggest recruiting tool in the world.
We know that if we could keep our best instate talent, Cam Robinson, Landon Collins, Tim Williams, Duvall, from going to our biggest rival, the tables will turn in our favor immidiately.
The coaching changes may have been a sign of disorganization and uncertainty when it all broke. After watching his home team put a much better product on the field, his heart had to fall back to the purple and gold.
Knowing that Dave Aranda is going to be our DC for at least has entire career, has got to be a plus for LSU. So Amon both sides, the coaching changes have now turned into a plus in my opinion.
It's all about Dylan's state of mind. Which is why we love our recuits so much.
As of now...
Bama is the bully of college football. Some people want to join the bully's gang. And others die for the opportunity to whip the bully's a$$. And I think that it is in Dylan to want to whoop the bullies a$$. If not, he would not have committed to us as early as he had.
We haven't beaten Bama since he was 11 years old. So, the day he committed, we were on a losing streak to them still. And his mind set had to be to sign with LSU and do something about that.
With the stability of our coaching situation, and the much improved product on offense, has made LSU something he has to seriously consider.
Again....
I don't fault any of our instate kids for wanting to go and play for a championship team. I'm just hoping that some type of seed of disgust has grown for all the Bama dominance.
I literally used to love to see the Bulls lose. Not because I hated Michael Jordan...
Simply because I had some sort of disgust of how everyone praised how great they were all the time. I remember rooting hard for the Suns and Sonics. I was under no illusion that Michael Jordan was the best player on the planet. It is as obvious. I had no sense of hurt when the Suns or Sonics didn't when the series, I just think that the underdog story is a better story.
Right now LSU is the underdog. So the question still remains. Does he want to join the bully's gang.... Or does he want to stuff the the bullies face in the sand, and get his best friend's lunch money back!
I think he wants to stay home and bring the championships back where they belong. We have watched too much of our top talent go win rings for the enemy.
Hopefully O and Aranda can get him to see the light.

What are the Bama insiders saying?
I generally try not to pay much attention to LSU insiders until another school, especially a rival school, has a member that comments.

Bama insiders realize that thus visit is potentially significant, but nobody is freaking out about it. Despite rumors that the visit was kept secret, it appears that the Bama staff were informed about it ahead of time.

Bama insiders don't care cause they got 142 other linebackers

Bama feels their special teams will be just fine with or without Dylan.

Everything about Moses and LSU makes sense....
We're desperate for LB's
Hometown grown
Grew up near campus
Spends more time at LSU than any recruit ever
Except he's committed to Bama
Was also the youngest commit in LSU history.
Proudly wore LSU gear everywhere.
Attended LSU games as a fan.
We can only hope kids realize they're being used by Bama to hurt LSU. They're getting the full court press only because of where they're from and that it hurts Bama's biggest threat. They know who is the only team that can stop them.
