Boulder has over 300 days of sunshine a year.Its sunny and beautiful and has very low humidity. Most snow breaks up before it gets to the front range and melts quickly. If it’s 45 and sunny on a cold winter day it’s beautiful, you are just as likely to have a 70 degree high as a 50. . Nights are cold. A real winter dump is relatively rare and everyone kind of digs it because there is so much fun stuff to do. A actual blizzard is very rare. The weather is one of the best features of Boulder and I lived there for 10 years. You may not want to play for CU, but the weather would not be the reason. It’s much, much worse anywhere to the east, especially in the gloomy gray Midwest.
