Committing to Colorado is still a thing?

He can have fun at that dumpster fire of a program

I’m a Deion fan but this is just flat out dumb lol

He's just going to collect his money and transfer in a year

I did say to forget about him. NiTareon Tuggle, come on down. :)

Imagine having a chance to play at LSU, a major SEC program that has become an offensive powerhouse and a factory for NFL WRs....and then choosing to play at Colorado.

Maybe Deion and company can get to 5 wins next season now

Targeting Nitro tells me they backed off Drelon towards the end. Good luck to him.

These are still 17 and 18 year old impressionable young men. He's not thinking far enough in advance to realize Deion probably won't be there long. It'll be a life lesson for him when he transfers in 2025.

Let that kid go sink into irrelevancy at that joke of a program. Can lead a horse to water but can’t make it drink.

Feel like this move says a lot about him.
To be frank, you don't go to CU at this time because you think that's where you're going to get the best coaching and progression at the WR position.
IDK if it's a bag drop off or if they pitched him on building his "brand" while there.
But one thing is for sure, the kid didn't make his decision based on playing for a contender or doing what's best for his development to get to the NFL.
Also, it's a small win because he goes out of the conference and we don't have to deal with playing against him.

Not a bad decision if you think about it. Good QB, he will get a ton of exposure if he gets playing time and plays well. He will be able to transfer if Deion leaves. Assume he received a good NIL deal.

Prime example of stupidity.

Colorado does NOT have $$$$
Deion is telling them he has something better than money. He has exposure. He has Gameday and Fox both doing preview shows on the same day on their campus. And in today's world, exposure leads to real NIL: national advertisements, not just being on the payroll of a plaintiff attorney.
What's false about this is that the novelty of Colorado has worn off. It's a bad program with no one in either line worth a damn. The coaches have all abandoned them. If they don't win the exposure is gone.

Deion doesn’t have any more of that than LSU does.

Colorado will not get the same exposure a Big 10 or SEC will get and he will have 1 year with Shedeur Sanders and Deion likely doesn't have much of a plan after his kids leave. Nor does anyone know if Deion will stick around after that.
