Don't understand why talk of signing more OL has stopped!

I realize the entire OL is coming back next year, but they were average at best. I realize they should be improved, but we should be relentlessly recruiting stud OL to step in next. Haven't heard any talk of landing any more OL in a couple of weeks which has me concerned.
Anybody have any inside info on any OL we may be landing? Hey, my son just quit working at Chick-fil-a, but I'm sure he can still get a hold of some bags if needed!

LSU is recruiting the #1 JuCo offensive lineman Jordan Moko hard. LSU is in his final 3 along with Oregon and Texas A&M.

besides moko, i don't think there are any available.
i saw where we offered rayshawn benny out of michigan a long time ago....but that's not happening.
transfer portal may have some frosh, but you don't want to add seniors when our whole line is coming back. you want frosh and sophs to grow with.

My Man, I think we're done except for possibly Moko and signing Mako, uh Manoka, uh...the kid from Florida State.
No emergency here with all starters back, Wire back up Tackle and Guard. I would be shocked if Hines, Bradford, and Thomas don't shed 20 or more lbs. apiece. I like what I've seen of Martinez and some folks around here like the other 2nd yr Frosh to be better than him. (his name isn't coming to mind)
Add in elite recruit Dellinger and Joseph Evans if necessary, and I believe we have 2 maybe 3 backups that should see the field enough to not be gun shy should a situation arise where they are heavily depended on later in the season or in 22'.
Oh, I forgot about Dumervil, he's next up at Tackle w/Wire...

Hill was who I was consciously forgetting. Dumervil completely slipped my mind and I like him for playing time more than anybody but Wire! Doh!!!

Because discussing a certain position that needs to be recruited on this site doesn’t have any impact on what LSU does in recruiting. LSU is recruiting the top JC offensive lineman so everybody is simply waiting to see what happens. Are you under the impression that discussion on here makes some kind of difference in who LSU signs?

We also got the number 1 juco tacle 2 yrs ago and he was terrible

Logical analysis of the depth. One question though: you mention you like what you've seen of Martinez. Are you basing that off of watching game(s) on TV, or do you have practice and coach/game cutups on Martinez?

We'll have plenty coming back for next year. It looks like 16 OLinemen on the roster for next year.
I'd bet that 1 or 2 will look at transferring out after Spring Ball but, as of right now, 16 for next year is waayyyy more than we've had in YEARS.
Having said that, I think they'd like to sign the JUCO lineman and other than him, I don't see anyone else they're looking at.... no need to sign one if you don't think he'll make the cut.
And we probably have other needs too. Maybe LB.

I understand we have a large number of OL, but numbers don't win championships. We don't have the talent level of OL needed to dominate the SEC and win NCs consistently. We need to land those OL that every other college is wanting, not the No.1 or 2 JUCO OL because they're playing JUCO for a reason. I don't expect LSU to land every 5-star OL in the country, but I do expect us to land our fair share and that's not happening.
