I’m not as familiar with Burns HS career but Kaufman was clearly the best player on a state championship team in a league that had several players that would play at the next level one of which is currently on LSU’s team and had a decent year for us.
Kaufman just seems to have “it” similar to TM7

You guys act like Burns is some kind of a bum. He was going to push for a starting job at Georgia next year and by all accounts he seemed like he started to develop like he should the last half of the year. It was a weird year and bad for freshman to get acclimated to the climate. Kaufman isn't the norm and I'd go as far to say he doesn't have as high a ceiling as Burns does. This is also probably another reason LSU pushed for him harder due to his ceiling potential.

Didn't say I wanted them to beat LSU, just like to see a hometown boy do good against the school that didn't even give him a look..

The staff apparently liked Burns more than Kaufman. Will be interesting to watch and see which one turns out to be the better player

The problem with guys like Kaufman is that everyone thinks guys like him are the next honey badger. We aren't going to see another one like him. Give me Burns all day who can play anywhere in the secondary and has great length. Not to mention, he's a hell of a player.
