Washington is very good.

He is very worthy of an offer.

Griffin- I will wait and see what happens.

Well then he'll have to prove me wrong.

Doesn't explain the reasons for his minimal offers... if he honestly was that good more D1 schools would be going after him.

know he's on the smaller side but as far as pure speed and strength?

Tyran ran 4.5 and did 4 reps on bench at the combine.

After watching film he looks just like tyrann. Not a long strider that will run sub 4.5 (imo) but explodes out of his breaks and closes on the ball very well. Hits hard (body control), great instincts, violent hands (strips), great ball skills. Love this guy

I wouldn't put him on a burner on the outside with no help over the top, but he looks like he'll kill it in the nickel/dime role. Think between Dwayne Thomas (good) and Matheiu (GOAT). Definitely worth the scholarship

I'm 5 foot 9 and a quarter. And, I've met the Honey Badger and I'm taller than him. I'd take another Honey Badger.

could be a dozen of different reasons.

Someone who is close to the situation can weigh in, but I would be willing to bet he isn't talking to other schools at this time is committed to LSU (other than TCU).

Couple scouts I've spoken to said Washington is the best or top 3 in the state in their mind. One said he's the best db in this class when it comes to knowledge of the game and how he will translate to the college level and I agree. The kid is going to be very good no matter his size and he's a great kid on top of that! Very happy we will be holding onto the evangel trio. I could see all 3 contributing big time as tigers!

I have been told Evangel doesn't allow the kids to publicize their offers. I'd be willing to bet he has more offers than are listed.

There is no way Griffin would have been recruited unless it were for his teammates.

O needs to cut the kid ASAP. This is a business not a charity and a 5'11" 265 lb DL is never going to play significant reps in the SEC.

People can downvote if they want but he has no business being here if LSU isnt getting his better teammates.

Do you know what would happen if LSU cuts a player? It would give the team a bad rep. Apparently the kid WANTS to be there. If he just gets cut cuz people don't think he's good enough, then it would deter others fe committing bc it shows that LSU has bad moral character

Stupid fricks claiming who's SEC material and who's not. If the coaches want him then he's SEC material.

Problem with that is there are some STUDS coming up in Rome GA. You don't burn bridges even though 2 of the 3 pissed on us.

Yeah LSU accepted the Rome, GA trio because of Adam Anderson and JaMarcus Chatman. Anderson has decommitted and didn't list LSU as one of his 5 top schools. Chatman switched to Tennessee. It looks like Griffin's friends helped him get an offer locked in at LSU, then they vanished. Now, as far as Griffin goes before LSU keeps him I would have him show up at some camps and prove he is really good. I don't mind his height. Lewis Neal was only 6'1" and he was a baller.

As far as Washington, he is way underrated. He should be one of the top CB's in the country, so he is a steal for LSU.

Sam Mills was only 5'9" and was one of the premier linebackers in the NFL.

Washington is being recruited at nickel corner and his size is fine for that position plus he may not be done growing yet.
