I'm not saying that he's not fast, but.. People really do throw around these 40 times like it's nothing, though. Guess, we'll see if he gets an invite to the opening.

He could turn into a another Dalton Hilliard, but with more pure speed. He isnt as big a dude as Hilliard was yet, but once he gets into the weightlifting program, there is no reason to think he wont get up to 210-215lbs.

Aren't we still going after Jordan Swilling among other RB's?

The first time I have seen his film - OMG and I think your spot on with the Dalton Hilliard comparison, sans the acceleration and the speed.

He looks like he could special. He can do it all and hopefully our NEW office will feature more backs in the slot from the backfield, etc.

Can't wait for football season

EH lacks DALTON's speed? You gotta be kidding! You could clock Dalton with a calendar. If Hilliard had elite speed he'd have been better than Fournette.

After watching some highlights of this kid, I can see where a previous poster said he reminds him of Barry Sanders. There is only one Barry Sanders, but you can see that he does display some Barry Sanders like moves on a number of his runs.

I wonder how much overall PT he will get though because we are after some other backs like Jordan-Swilling, and Toneil Carter. In otherwords, I doubt we are done signing RB's for 2017.

He's not Barry Sanders but that's what he looks like at the highschool level.

Would be a shame to put this kid as a dot the I back. The athletes that LSU is recruiting plus the kids we already have is unreal... Makes me sick we aren't spreading defenses out. Making them single up coverage or giving our backs a light box to maneuver.

With today's rules and athletes, it makes no sense to be so traditional on offense.

this kid's film is one of the best I've seen. Up there with Jeremy Hill and Fournette...almost. He reminds me of a bigger Kevin Faulk with the same type of second level burst...but Edwards has better closing speed than Faulk I believe. This guy could be lights out for us. He is really good.

Cracks me up that some people think our main offensive problem - poor QB play by inexperienced QBs - could be solved by switching to a scheme that emphasizes QB play. We would have been terrible.
