He'll start.

He's a SR
Started his entire JR year
Recorded like 80 tackles

People need to accept it

Being a Sr means absolutely nothing anymore. That job will be up for grabs.

Beckwith looked to be the biggest beast out of all of that great lb class. Kwon, debo also have looked good but beckwith looked like a man out there.

Glad to see we have filled in the DE position enough so that we don't have to steal him away from the LB position. If true I sure hope he is our starter next season.

Welter better not be starting this year we have better talent than him lamar louis is another guy who showed some flashes but still rides the pine

Welter started last year because he was the best. Don't ask me, ask the coaches; THEY STARTED HIM!

I've always been a Debo fan, and you're right about Louis showing good stuff. But if the coaches aren't playing those guys more, there are reasons. It's not favoritism.

To be fair to Welter, he did improve as the season progressed.

To answer the question, Kenny Young on special teams

At first. He gets in the game as much as debo as a freshman at the very least. He's as polished as Kwon coming in.

CG will probably get some playing time next year depending on how well he picks up the system but the good thing is that by season 2 the position will be his to take. He has the frame to grow to be that 245 pound MLB that will punish the ball carrier. He and Beckwith will see the field together in some form or fashion.

Clifton reminds me alot of Brandon Spikes coming out of high school- SEC ready physicallly, but needs to be coached up.

I think both Garrett and Young (if he comes) will play, on special teams that is...Garrett will get time at LB....

Beckwith, Kwon and Garrett would be a good LB core...And I wouldnt sleep on Bell...kid can play...

yea he had 25 solo and 55 assist...

the year before minter had 130 total tackles...

75 solo and 55 assist....

a big drop in production at that position..

now before bashing him im willing to see how he does after a year starting and he did improve the last few games....

Miles will not let a true freshman take over at MLB over a senior.
