Do Aggie fans even care about all the talent that is bolting, or did they buy so much

Some are freaking out and others are acting like the ones leaving were not that good. Typical Aggies.

Seems they're most upset over Diggs and Nolen. The rest are more depth pieces, or they were.

I think Overton and Bisontis are bigger losses than they're willing to admit, especially over the next 2 years.

They’ve got to have less than 10 guys left of that #1 class at this point

They have been gutted the last 2 off-seasons.

If Weigman leaves then I think the only 5 star remaining would be Shemar Stewart, but a lot of folks are predicting he hits the portal as well.

All of those 5 star DL were/are from out of state.

Shemar Stewart-Florida
Overton-Georgia
Nolen-Tenn/Miss
Brownlow-Diddy-Florida
Anthony Lucas-Arizona

Bisontis-New Jersey
The Johnsons-Georgia

It's not coincidence that's it all of these out of state guys that have no issue leaving. They never had any attachments to the school in the first place.

You can even look at LSUs recent transfer guys:

Eli Ricks-California
Corey Kiner-Ohio
Jackson McGohan-Ohio

Honestly, they'll take a hit, but they might be better off in the long run. Maybe Elko is getting rid of bag-chasers. Some other people are getting pissed off at that and leaving. What are you left with? Guys that want to be Aggies (why? I will never understand) and he'll rebuild with guys that follow his vision, much like Kelly did at LSU. Don't misunderstand me, I hope I'm wrong and Elko falls flat on his face, but if he's building a&m like this, it'll either fail spectacularly with infighting between him and the boosters and set the program back another 5 years, or they'll become formidable.

I mean sure I get you, but you are losing a shite ton of talent. Even before they were spending tons of money, they were getting top 6 and top 8 classes and doing absolutely nothing with them. I don't see Elko doing much better until they fix the offensive issue. And he can not fall into the trap of a defensive HC forgetting that you still need defense to win. I've seen that a lot recently college and pros.

In the history of Aggie land, when has reality ever influenced Aggie logic? Their world is truly a land of rainbows and unicorns.

Aggie is in a really bad spot considering their other big brother to the west is showing back up to restore order in that part of the world.

These guys know they are in their money year. If they don’t feel as though, A&M can get them in the best position for the draft, they leave.

Actually a pretty good business practice, make money from the highest bidder for two years, then go somewhere that can put you in position to make money for the next 10 years.

They said the same thing last year and the amount of “depth” players who left really hurt them this year. Every player is a depth piece until they’re not. Nabers was a depth piece 2 years ago and now he’s the best WR in the country. You can’t become relevant in the SEC when you’re losing an entire recruiting class worth of young players every year because they don’t like your creepy school and town

This is different for Kiner and McGohan. They were passed by younger players on the depth chart. I don't think it was about money.

Ricks on the other hand: total sell-sword. I am glad the NFL is working out so well for him

How was he passed by younger players on the depth chart? He’s a true freshman!

I never said it was about money, just saying OOS recruits don't have the same attachment to a program that more local guys may have.

Maybe this is why Brian Kelly focuses on guys from Louisiana in the portal to fill places of need.

I think most of them are crawling back into their holes for the time being.

Don't worry, they'll be out in-force next Summer...
