DL recruiting for 2022(long)

2022 5* SDE Shemar Stewart
Rumored top schools: LSU, Florida, Miami, OSU.
Measurements: 6'5" 236 lbs
CB: 100% LSU
Where do I start? Freak of nature, extremely gifted and whatever other phrase you'd like to use because this kid is a beast. LSU has been the rumored front runner since shortly after we offered him, Florida is seen as #2 currently however it is unknown how much Bill Johnson leaving affects our recruitment of him. Personally I dont think it will affect him too too much due to Orgeron also being a D-line guy and Neilson possibly coming to coach the D-line/DC would be an upgrade id imagine.

If I'm being honest I dont know much about Derrick other than that he goes to St Frances(Toles Alma Matter), if I had to guess his top schools I'd likely say Bama, Maryland, and maybe OU? They're the only school listed as warm but I dont know.

Thanks for putting this together. The only guy I see missing is J’Mond Tapp out of Ascension. I would like to take 2 DEs and 3-4 DTs in this class given the talent that we got last class and that we will likely graduate this year. I’ll take Tygee Hill and Shone Washington all day and then fill in whoever we can pull out of state. Didn’t know we stood that high with White, which is awesome to hear.

Also hate to derail on the oline angle but, if We stay at a 4-3 and the need for 6-3 330 NT subsides, could West go tO og since Emory Jones is the only one inLa?
West, Taylor and possibly Emory would be a good interior haul including two more OTs.

Ar the minimum we need to get Shemar Stewart, keep Shone Washington, and get Jaheim Oatis. I hope we get these guys and land a couple more too. Oatis is a freaking giant human being. Very few people have the kind of natural size he has, and he is not a big fat slob either.

There are a few busts in there, but there are a few superstars. Charles is in the NFL, Brennan was looking great before his injury, Adams and Hill have not had there day yet, but I’ve heard good stuff about Hill. And Deion Smith looks like a star in the making.
