re: DK Moore #1 WR in America committing July 4th (Oregon is the Choice)

July has always been a tricky month for people who don't post on the RB between Feb and June.
"We've only got 12 commits, it's time to fire BK!@!!" and similar posts will be the norm from now til Dec.
At least with Negas like LSUfanva he's rational, and consistent and present all year.
The obes I can't stand are those guys who chime in with their negative bullshite when they dont know dick about recruiting.
Some of these people still believe our NIL fund is bottom of the SEC, when in fact our war chest is approaching too third of the SEC.
Just for a refresher, the fact that we're in so many recruits final 3 or 5 indicates our NIL offers are at least in the same ballpark as the Texas and Oregons of the world.

Couldn’t say that any better. Who knows in the next 6 months who comes with more money or who has a winning or losing season to make them flip.
I’m not at all for a kid getting what he can get I just not sold on an early commitment. Do you need that much attention. I guess so.

I’m trying to guess if this is Sark trying to gain momentum after losing Brandon Brown and Zion Williams or this cat is picking Oregon .
If he goes to Oregon then that's gonna start being a problem for a lot teams.
If Lanning is so good at getting these kids to buy in that he's convincing them to move to the PNW and play in a lesser conference, this dude is dangerous.
DK would be huge. Taking an in-state kid away from texas when you know they're throwing every dollar they have at him is wild.
There's also the possibility that Phil Knight has really said frick it and is doubling whatever schools like texas are throwing out.

Can someone post that silly video he did when he committed to lsu?? He had the crown on and all the lsu stuff with him laying there. Man he looks like an arse for doing that now

Hopefully the kid sticks with it this time, or at least doesn’t talk up his new school too much before he bails on them

Looked at On3 recruiting prediction machine - 90 percent to Texas. 1 percent to Oregon.

And this time…he really means it.

I'm gonna count that as a compliment. And it's appreciated. I just enjoy the opinions whether I agree or not. Just choose to point out the disagreeable ones more. Here's a positive spin, I think the class is shaping up very nicely. Those lines are looking nice. The next few days should be fun.

It absolutely is a compliment. At least when I disagree with you, I have to question my own thoughts and opinions, and that wouldn't be the case if this were a "yes man factory where all opinions must he in lock step or posi-tigers are gonna get you."
Honestly, I would probably be a little more negative, if not for the fact that the negative side has more than plenty making that case.
So I find myself pointing out the positive because it seems like that side of the argument is vastly outnumbered.
Positive or negative aside, LSU is in a really good place. Could it he better situated ? Absolutely, but let's not throw the baby out with the bathwater.
At this point, if we pull these DLinemen that we're predicted to land and somehow grab Pickett and Antoine, along with everyone we still have, this will have been as successful a class as anyone could hope for, with some lagniappe still to come.
This upcoming season, if we can squeak out 10 regular season wins and make a playoff appearance, and have a defense that can get off the field a couple times a game, then we will look back on 2024 as the year we began our emergence as a perennial national title contender.
