Darron Reed, Dashawn Womack, Jaxon Howard, possibly Jalen Brown, Chase Bisontis, DJ Chester, and Christian Gray. Don’t give me the crying about 2 crystal balls from OSU guys on Reed. Wiltfong has kept his on LSU and on3 guys think LSU is in a great spot. Leading for Shelton Sampson, Zalabce Heard, Kylin Jackson, Kaleb Jackson, tyree Adams, and Khai Prean.

Yeah, the fence doesn't exist.
We have nearby schools just coming into Louisiana offering NIL deals to players and we just can't compete.
LSU's biggest advantage over every other program has now evaporated.

It's not unreasonable to think that we should be doing better.
I would love to hear otherwise but, I don't think there's ever been an LSU class that was ranked in the 40s come July since 2000. That and you add in the fact that there's been numerous targets out-of-state that "flirted" with LSU then trend elsewhere on a drop of a dime.. it's concerning
Don't want to overreact (or troll) on here because it's the recruiting board, but, Kelly and his staff have to do better.

It'll be great to land those guys

Why do you guys keep saying it’s June? Or it’s early.. Lmao so tf what? You really think we are going to close on the big fish and beat out BAMA/OSU/UGA/A&M?….Yeah good luck with that.

Just visited Miami and has had some buzz/CBs there now

Seems like he's trending for Notre Dame

All would be great takes. I agree with the overreaction about the OSU homer CB picks for Reed

And a few weeks ago he was trending to LSU. On3 even said today they don’t think he’s the slam dunk to Miami that people think he is. Gray might be leaning ND but I still think it’s more 50/50

I’ve always truly felt 2024 would be our true indication of where the staff can be recruiting wise. Think about the momentum we are creating right now for the 2024 class. Now go back a year and think about how this coaching staff wasn’t assembled until December. That’s a 6 month gap of those 2023 recruits building relationships with other schools. I’m not saying it leaves us with zero chance but I do think it matters. Catching up doesn’t always work, maybe for a few guys. Our last staff had issues with some of the in state guys in this class plus half of them wanting to leave the state…we all saw this coming in 23. I don’t think the sky is falling. Not in my book at least.

Damn Louisiana got absolutely pillaged this year in terms of top 10 players

It's strange this year how LSU wasn't even an option for a lot of the state’s top prospects. You got mopped last season but some of those guys gave lsu a strong look before O imploded.
This year Manning, Holstein, Lewis, Ausberry, Curtis and Matthews didn't give lsu the time of day.
Of the 20 prospects that filled out the state’s top 10 ranked recruits over the past two classes, it looks like LSU will lose 14 of them.
The state hasn't been raided like this since the early 90s.

It will become a trend with OU and UT entering the sec.
LSU doesn't have the money these schools do for NIL
Lsu is going to be in a position to pick its poison with regard to where to spend NIL and If rather it be football. Basketball and baseball can be second fiddle

There’s also another solution. It’s called winning games. 11-12 last 2 years isn’t helping.

Lol in others words we’re f’d. Imagine BK coming here thinking he could get better athletes and lockdown the state..when in actuality he’ll be lucky to sign 1 or 2 of the top ten each year. Yikes….

recruiting isn’t about relationships anymore, throw that out the window in regards to a recruits decision.

Players been getting paid, you think a Walker Howard, Will Campbell, and Harold Perkins signed with LSU for free?
