That's a crock. No one likes negativity, but lets be real, these forums are not vetted for Bama fans posing as LSU fans and for idiots.

Any recruit should be told that no matter where they go. You think Orangebloods haven't had their share. The difference is in the whacking.

I agree with this and negative arse fans get so pissed at you when you tell them they are being a douche and claim it has nothing to do with a recruits.

They give you the usual smart arse comeback.

"if a recruit goes elsewhere from a recruiting board then they are stupid"

Well thsi board is strong and gets a lot of attention. So what we say plays a major role.

I call BS!!
If Collins and Duvall would have heard what I did on Feinbaum after the 9-6 game and the comments about Saban they would have never went to Bama. Had Davis listened to or read some of the crap on Orangebloods recently about Brown he would have never went. Say what you will and believe what you will but reality is that events over the last few weeks and the showing in the SECCG and NC led most to leave!!

he's right.

But blame Miles for 1/9/12.

Had he at least given us a shot to win the game, things would have been different, even a loss.

So, message board fodder is negatively impacting recruiting, but all of the shenanigans other schools' fans do (e.g. Updyke, teabagging, etc.), doesn't deter fans at all?

Because, you know, I'm sure LSU fans are the only fans to say negative things.

Whatever.

Too much negativity all around- but it is mostly with the so called fans who do not understand the program. It is a sign of narrow-mindedness and a lack of true perspective on the overall greatness of this program. I truly believe there is a planned sabatoge by many fans who hate Les Miles and his so called bad treatment of JL. Also, believe other teams have created alters on this site, just for this reason. This is the real conspiracy.

Sure, I think fan negativity can affect recruiting. Many of the posters on this board are affected by what they hear, and they tend to be swept along with every negative thing they hear. Why would kids be different?

Don't worry the order will soon be restored. Kids will continue to keep away from the shitty negativity that surrounds the LSU program and you all will soon be happy to go 7-5 and make the independence bowl.
LSU fans feel so inferior to Alabama, that they actually don't take the time to be grateful for what they have in Miles.

Updyke was one person.
Teabagger was one person.

This site has 10,000 opinions that come up with a google search. Did it matter 10 years ago? No. But Facebook and twitter changed that and now all of this spins into daily discussion about the program. We sucked on Jan 9th. Let it go. Les proved he could build a national championship worthy team with his own recruits. Be proud of LSU and support us fully.

Yes, of course, this is brilliant. The vague sentiments of anonymous fans have suffused the metaphysical atmosphere and repulsed the in-state recruits. Of course! Begats! In my ignorance, now cured, I had foolishly believed that the embarrassing 21 point loss in the NCG, or the resultant player discord, or the skill of opposing staffs, or the LSU coaches who actually talk to recruits may have been responsible. Now I see my folly. It's all the fans.
