The kid (and, his Mom) have endured a lot of adversity during the whole recruiting cycle and handled it pretty well IMO. Like most all high value prospects he has anticipated "his moment" but was disappointed on NSD by the inclement weather. I guess he chose the limo to compensate a bit for missing out earlier but I don't see it as an offensive act. The OU response since NSD on the other hand has been absolutely awful - so bad, I don't think he could have went there even if he actually wanted to. Glad to have him as a Tiger & I suspect that nitwit that predicted him to not last a year in college ishheading for disappointment.

like i said in one of the other threads... i wish this kid all the success in the world unless and until we meet LSU in the national championship.
he absolutely needs to be away from his psychopathic mother and there is no way he could have thrived at OU being so close to her. for his sake, i'm glad she didn't win out in the end.

No there isn't. But if you don't think local fans would be upset with the "show" (not saying it was or wasn't) they implied he put on, you knew there would be backlash.
If OU never entered the picture within the last two months, this wouldn't even be an issue. However, writers gave up the fan's hopes, so they are going to be upset.
If this were a BR kid, you're silly if you think their wouldn't be idiot LSU fans bashing him.

Eh, I think the limo thing is kind of tacky, but i also remember being 18, so go for it big guy.
