Same could be said of most "holy men". Don't think doing his job is an indictment of his faith. If so, who is the standard of holiness we should be looking to show us the way it should be done?

BK understands this new age of NIL. That’s why he specified getting kids from other schools who are interested in coming back home and playing for their home state. This type of emotional pull can be stronger than any NIL money. He won’t take kids that aren’t LSU material but he will consider taking kids who are maybe average to above average players because those kids will play harder for a team they take pride in playing for.

It is important to have these kinds of players for depth if you’re going to use a totally merit based NIL system which rewards the starters. Otherwise a team can just offer money and a starting position to one of your backups and if they dont have a strong loyalty to the team or coaches then of course they will leave.

I’m all for players getting paid and having the chance to go to other schools but there is no regulation on any of it and it’s getting out of control.

If you do the same for coaches, I’m fine with regulations on transfers. If you don’t do the same for coaches, then there should be no regulations.

As George Carlin said: “it’s all bullshite and it’s bad for you”.
