As for Cutrer, I'm not buying that he's only 155. I don't care if Jimmy was with him in person or not. Unless he's lost 20-25 pounds he is not 155. He's also a S all the way. As for the Simon comparison, completely different level of athlete. Not a knock on Cutrer, who is a really good athlete, but Simon was the best athlete in the state his SR year. He's a rare size/athleticism combo guy. I thought he was going to play WR.

no way cutrer weighs 155

Hate to break it to you but he recently weighed in at 155. Said he has a hard time keeping weight on.

Has Chuck Baker ever played safety? To me, he looks like his future might be on defense as a safety. Certainly big enough, his lack of real quickness not an issue, can build up speed though which means he could cut across patterns and pick off INTs with his good hands, and he certainly looks like he could lay people out with hits.

Baker will NOT play safety, as for Curter and his weight, where is this information coming from?

Neal seems to be very quick and I think he'll have a lot of success rushing the QB. The quickness also helps him avoid blockers when opponents are running sweeps or off tackle. I think he has a lot of potential. He'll obviously redshirt, though.

now im even higher on him than i already was!

kind of scares me about dooley's last yr. Im wandering if they would offer Chavis HC job? He is a legend over there. This "intern" chavis brought on? whats his story? was this done to prep him for a future DC job? i want chavis to retire in BR!

Chavis will never be a head coach at this stage of his career. Not because he is not capable, but he just does not seem like a guy who would want those responsibilities and put up with the bullshite.

Yep, he could have been one for the last 25 years, he likes where he is, and what he does.

Welcome aboard

I'm excited to have this kid. His 40 time is a little misleading bc he has a really good initial burst. I'm looking forward to seeing this kid develop.

Oh, and one more thing... Wait 'til moffitt gets a hold of him!

Cutrer is about 175. Has a ton of room to grow. Looks a lot like Landry did in high school. Don't forget about last years Sandolph at S. Hes a good one.

As for Diarse, he is a WR all the way. Main reason he's going to LSU.

Neal looks great. Not huge but 6'2 is plently big enough. He will only get bigger. I think the Rasco comparison is good but he plays a little harder than Rasco. Neal has more motor, Rasco more technique.

Agreed. Not to mention, he's one of the highest-paid assistant coaches in the land.

Neal picture looks like combination of Leonard Little and Charles Haley. Lets hope he has their physical skills as well!

He and Rasco are nowhere near the same prospect coming out of HighSchool.

No one disputes that Rasco was a better prospect out of HS which is why everyone says he was better. Having said that, that really doesn't always pan out. I have brought up Chancey Aguayere a few times here and that guy was rated 5* at one time and ended up high 4*. And he can't even break into the top 2 levels of the depth chart after 5 years. Not saying that Rasco won't pan out...but who is to say that Neal won't be an upside surprise. And speaking of upside, how in the world can people say "he is as good as he will get" or "he has limited upside potential"? What???? Did you guys visit the Wizard of Oz lately? No one can measure heart, hard work, physical development, coaching to improve technique, etc.

Never sell a guy short who basically now bench presses 50 lbs more than his peer DL and OL prospects.
