If Austin is wavering this much now then at the first sign of adversity he’ll hit the portal. I really want him to want to be here but if he doesn’t want to come then don’t. No hard feelings. It’s a tough decision. Make the right one the first time and live without regret.

I must disagree. If he plans to go to Oregon, as has been rumored for over a week, he should not remain committed to another school. It is disrespectful to the coaching staff that has recruited him and offered him a spot, to hold that spot until signing day and then sign with someone else.
LSU should have hard feelings if he signs with Oregon.

Ok, but if LSU is getting Denver Harris and Desmond Ricks, I don’t see how they wouldn’t be happy with the CB haul. That’s the #1 CBs from both the 22 and 23 class.

Do you think us chasing every cornerback better than him is disrespectful? I don’t.
I just remember what being 18 and going to school felt like. I could say I was going to California all I wanted at 16 but I would’ve been real damn hard to do at 18 when it was time to put pen to paper.
My only point is he needs to get it right the first time. Only thing worse than flipping on signing day is flipping a year later in the portal.

The #1 cornerback from the 2022 class was Travis Hunter. The #1 CB from the 2023 class is Cormani McClain
