I mean, I always thought he was undersized. He was listed 6'2" 265 out of high school. Maybe he just isn't filling out and wants to play at a smaller school. I don't know. I heard he's a dog, so I don't know. Just my perception.

My post is a complete overreaction of what? What am I overreacting about?

That anyone you were responding to was trying to control what the guy does. Show me who was doing this? I have no idea who you were even responding to. When I read your first post, I literally had to scroll up and re-read the other posts in the thread to try and see where you were getting that.

it's his decision to make

No shite?

The only ppl overreacting are the ones making a big deal about losing him and not realizing that we have depth (Livingston, Travez, Jenkins, Cherry, Dantriez, Fonua, and Little).

This is laughable. Exactly ONE of those guys plays the same position as Cotton. I'm not sure why you don't think it's reasonable for people being bummed out about a redshirt freshman, former 4* player, at a position where depth is going to be a concern in the near future, possibly transferring.

And again.. if you don't believe ppl are doing that just go to the comments of the article with the same name.

THEN GO POST IN THAT DAMN THREAD! GO RESPOND TO THE PEOPLE WHO ARE ACTUALLY MAKING THESE POSTS THAT YOU'RE REFERRING TO!

My point stands

The only point you're making is that you are stubborn. You made a bad post and should just own it.

I like being a half glass full poster sometimes but we can’t just assume that all of these draft eligible players will not declare early for the draft. There will be a few at least leave that shouldn’t and that is probably best case scenario in our situation.

Maybe it’s just because he was the next Mikey Johnson or Anthony Johnson and not the next Booger or Brockers

I know Freak didn't live up to the expectations, but you're out of your mind if you think he and Mickey Johnson are equals at LSU.

For real. If Freak was a 4 star coming out of high school everyone would say he had a solid career at LSU.

I know with the incoming recruiting class LSU will be over the 85 scholarship limit. So either he figured he wouldn't see the field or LSU staff didn't see enough progress. Still need 5 more to leave/drop from scholarship before 2-a-days start or fall semester, one of the two. If Rosenthal is one of them I'ma lose it. And I hope Curry doesn't leave but with Clyde coming back and the 2 freshmen I'm expecting some changes made with the RB's. Will be interesting to see which players LSU cuts. Maybe some receivers.

Could be personal issues. I don't buy they shipped him off and processed him. O was singling this guy out as a big player in the future. Several people even mentioned staff was excited for this guy?

I wouldn't be adverse to replacing meatball on this staff now. He hasn't done a good enough job and we need an elite recruiter there now. I'm not sure how Orgeron can't pick the slack up there. I know he's a HC but he's been an elite recruiter for years. HC definitely can be responsible for filling the void. Hell, I'd argue Les was second only to Saban in recruiting.

I'm not really sure how guys refuse to lineup for LSU on the line. I'm wondering if our scheme is turning them away because in a 4-3 we could recruit like crazy there.

Definitely think something has happened personally. I've seen him play and he has a lot of potential. He plays with leverage, has a lot of power in his hips, and is quick off the ball. O has complimented him several times since he arrived on campus last year.

I’ve posted in other threads that if Ingram returns next season as he likely will, then Hines will return to the DL.

Head scratcher and it puts LSU in a bind for 2020 in the defensive front.

Glen Logan just became LSU’s most important recruit for the class. He can’t leave early.

You’re another one who thinks Orgeron “processed” a player at a position of need huh?

You don't know what happened either. It could've been for many different reasons.

I feel pretty confident in saying the head coach didn’t cut a defensive end when he just spent two years talking about the need to build and maintain quality depth along the defensive front.

That’s just common sense Ben.
