Just going out on a limb, maybe they know other players at the DT position that want in and are higher on the board. Kelly is a highly organized and prepared guy. This isn’t something catching him by surprise, im sure.

Interesting you say that, perhaps LSU landed Hall and Reed seeks other options, but both can co-exist. Otherwise makes no sense to me

With how Kelly closed last years recruiting and seeing the results play out this year, recruiting no longer causes me to be worried… no matter who decommits or rumors… I trust Kelly is prepared…

They’d be absolute fools, to be honest, particularly Reed. Cain, Steeples, and House would shape these gentlemen for the next level. If short term NIL deals are truly the factor in any of these two, it’s a shame. Reed would ultimately spurn LSU and therefore Ohio State (whom was the runner-up in his commitment), to go to AUBURN of all places, without any stability. Let them go, should they, LSU will find what they need in a massive rumored flip or two and transfers. Mickens, absolutely understandable and don’t blame him, Ohio State churns out D-Linemen like a MFer and the proximity to his family after such a loss. LSU will be fine.

Other teams simply are able to offer more money than us right now. For whatever reason 5-7 coachless AU team has over 13 Mil in their collective and we don’t even have half that yet are having success. Idk what else boosters need to see before they fully invest in Kelly. It’s obvious he is our guy.

BK is busy trying to win a championship while the wannabes are trying to outbid for players. BK will have a plan for this, but unfortunately a lot of other programs aren’t as busy as him at the moment. And just desperate.

I guess these kids need a few more case studies of a 2022 A&M before they realize a quick money grab is not always what’s best for your future. Unfortunately, it’s not always the kids decision.
