Fong switched his crystal ball pick for Darron Reed to Auburn- something to keep an eye on in addition to Joshua Mickens. Too early to get worked up about it but would be huge loss. I personally really like the kid after watching his film.

Billy Embody Article on D-Reed

Not looking good. Said he would flip his RPM pick to Auburn if had one entered for LSU. NIL and proximity big factor and said Amari Washington and Jordan Haul are replacement options (Jordan Haul is a beast).

Would make no sense given the coaching uncertainty. Either way Kelly will be prepared I’m sure

He’s probably gonna need a redshirt anyway ( good prospect though )

Well, we don't really have room for 40 incoming freshmen. It looks like there are still quite a few on our board and we already have 25.

Man I was excited about this DL class and it's starting to fall apart .. in Cain I trust though.

That would put us at 0 DTs and we only signed Tygee Hill in last year’s class

I’m very confused on this one. The only thing Auburn has going for it is proximity to home. Their entire staff will be over hauled in a few weeks.

I’m usually not a guy who complains but we have to close strong. Mickens and now Reed? I trust Kelly and Co but can’t afford to lose guys like that if we want to get where we wanna be. I still trust that Cain will pull something out the bag

They think they can flip that kid who’s committed to Oregon …and Jordan Hall really liked his visit

This is gonna get a 100 downvotes….but I wonder if any of those offensive linemen that are buried on the depth chart….would like to try being a defensive lineman

Could be Mickens, Reed, Austin

Would suck but gotta believe and hope we have quality back ups.

Portal was great to us but I agree with Kelly we just can't rely off of it heavily each off season to be sustainable long term

Hang on to Womack Howard, Carpenter
Flip Washington from Oregon
Land Jordan hall

Is that what we’re looking like now?

I don’t like losing Reed to Auburn at all. As well as Austin AND Mickens. What happened to our momentum?

Have to go all in on Hall. He’s a game changer at a position we need. But I agree with eveything you said. Still a big believer in Kelly. Recruiting isn’t for the faint of heart hahaa.

LSU is going to have to step it up, we are on the verge of losing 3 of our top 10 commits 2 of them solely because we’re getting outbid by other schools who have no business outbidding us.

These were Shea and Billy’s flip watch candidates on their last recruiting podcast.

Mickens to OSU partly B/c of his family situatuon, Daylen to Oregon partly due to his former trainer being on staff there now, and Reed to Auburn partly b/c of proximity to home.

Obviously there’s more to each individual situation but not surprising I guess that all the sites have their eyes on the same 3 dudes.

Reed and Austin are because of NIL. Especially Reed.

Mickens is perfectly understandable…I’d be worried about him going into the transfer portal…even if he doesn’t flip
