I wouldn’t hate it at all if we kept Daronte. All things considered, he did a phenomenal job with the hand he was given.

Daronte predictably struggled early in the year as basically a first time coordinator and was dealt a bad hand of injuries and probably a meddling head coach.

When they finally cut it loose the last 4 games, it was elite defense.

Plus he’s a really likable guy

Daronte will be a good DC for somebody but you have to belive Brian Kelly will bring a hand picked person in.

STOP THIS Daronte struggled early in the year bull shite

Jackass O forced the 4-3 on 3-4 personnel.

O admitted it in the last interview- he said he wished he'd have gone to it sooner.

You actually think Daronte Jones can't run the 3-4? That it took Kiffin to tell O that we were predictable?

NO shite- It's why NO ONE wants to come here and work for O - HE IS AN IDIOT and won't listen. Just like Miles to an extent.

Daronte proved he has a great future ahead of him as the last three games were stout!

Maybe him, CR, and Freeman can all be on staff next year.

Yeah I know, Freeman is a pipe dream at this point

Reminds me of that Coach O story about him continuing to recruit for USC and Pete Carrol asking him why
