Dang Clemson is racking up on Linebackers

Tony Steward and Stephone Anthony. Can't wait for LSU to get a solid linebacker class. Not saying anything bad about Trevon. Just amazed at LSU inability to recruit top linebackers on a consistent basis.

fwiw, we do pretty well with MLB. (James, Faulk, Turner, Shep, etc.) i agree though, need to step up our OOS LB recruiting to get more depth.
with Chavis here I don't know if that will happen any time soon.

Clemson is a poor man's Penn State.

They have the #1 WR in the country committed this year, and they have maybe the best DE in the draft coming out this year. So I would have to disagree with you.

LSU needs to have a large number of great LBs in Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi in order to sign a great LB class.
LSU is not going to go to North Carolina and pull a LB. And, it is very difficult to go to Florida and steal a recruit. It really is amazing that Clemson was able to do that.

Don't forget DC Steele is a hell of a recruiter there too. As for LB's looking at DandyDon's top 100 for 2012 there will be plenty of LB's in the state next year.

clemson is a joke. A constant under-achiever in college football. Their classes are usually pretty decent but their teams are average at best.
