No bc everyone is going to do that. Unless you've been living under a rock it's already been decided that everyone is doing the name/likeness thing starting in 2021

That's not true. It's only been proposed by states. This bill has been signed and delivered by Florida.
California & Colorado's name and likeness bill doesn't go into effect until 2023.

I wouldn’t doubt it. We seem to have several decommits every year for one reason or another. I’ve heard rumblings of other safety prospects we are high on. It’s likely best for both parties.

Does this have anything to do with the state of Florida being able to allow players to get paid for their likeness in 2021? I haven't read any further than the first post, so don't roast me if somebody already said the reason.

That's probably right. I'd love to have him because on tape he looks like he would be a great safety here, but us being higher on other safetys could also be correct, but I wouldn't know. Wish this kid the best. Seems like a nice kid.

I think Mitchell is severely underrated by the services, but let’s not act like we will have a hole because he’s looking elsewhere. Gee, Ryan, and possibly Jardin Gilbert in this class followed by some combination of Allen, Anderson and Jacoby Matthews next class is pretty damn stout.
