DK Moore and his mother(MJ) had a visit this past weekend and she did all the talking. She said she met w/ Day, Hartline errybody else. She said the team showed how HIS Brand would be elevated at Ohio St. They put off the Orlando 7^7 tournament to get up there and were very impressed with all they had to offer $$$$ I assume. I hope LSU and Underwood convince him that P&G will get him all the $$ he needs ie(Chase Jefferson Nabers BTJ). She’s shifting their crowded schedule to get back. I know he’s going to take advantage of everything the #1 WR is deserving of but it still makes me nervous especially with his Mom along for the ride. It’s going to be a dogfight to hang on to him but LSU surely knows that so Buckle Up.

Stay tuned for more updates!

Mom should be along for the ride. Doing all the talking, as a parent should. Seems like an invested parent. Ohio St is the only program in America who can say so what, to what we can in terms of the history of our WR room. This will be a dog fight.

They don’t have Underwood or Durham but they do have Benjamin Franklin.

I would love to see D Moore in purple and gold and think he would do great here. With that said, I can throw a rock from where I’m at in Louisiana and hit an underrated WR that could end up as a top 10 draft pick. Malik Nabers was committed to Mississippi State right before signing day. Couldn’t even tell you the name of the 5 star who decommitted to free up room for him. Ohio State doesn’t have that luxury. Hell, Keon Coleman didn’t even sniff an LSU offer and he was an hour away from campus.

You are very mistaken if you think we could find another Moore in Louisiana.

Ohio St is closest to LSU in this department, but still pale in comparison once we get to the NFL. Our WRs tend to do way better in the NFL despite whatever ranking they came out of high school. For instance Jarvis Landry will end up being the 4th best WR in the NFL from LSU in the last 10 years (2014-2023) despite having 3 1130+ yard seasons, 5 seasons with at least 975 yards and 5 pro bowls. Thomas from Ohio St is the closest WR they got in comparison that has come out since 2010.

I'm not saying he can't be elite in the NFL coming from Ohio St, but LSU is 100% more of a sure thing, and it's a sure thing over multiple coaches the last 10 years. Even without a good QB, Nabers is about to be a 1000 yard rookie. Even though Lawrence has been up and down with the Jags, I can see north of 700 yards for BTJ as a rookie.

We just had two first round wr picks in the same draft who were both less than an hour from Baton Rouge another first round pick from Opelousas we didn’t even offer!

Not saying he isn’t super talented, but if I’m freaking out about losing a talented out of state player WR is the last position I’m freaking out over. Sorry not sorry.

I am not selling Moore's talent short, he's elite. But everyone here knows an out of state receiver will never make or break this team. We've got too many homegrown guys that always seem to step up into another level.

If we lose him, that sucks. But we'll be fine.

Also, to clarify, I don't think we're at a point of losing him. I think he's doing his due diligence, taking all his opportunities etc. End of the day, he grew up an LSU fan and with all the other #1 guys in that class coming here, I think he stays with us.

As I've said all along, he's a fool to run away from LSU, WRU, and the best QB in probably a decade.

Also, I grew up near THE OSU and it gets really cold there and their coach can't seem to beat Michigan even though they have a top 3 recruiting class every year.

They have gotten some of their WR's
to the league lately, but the LSU has more, and their wideouts are tearing up the league once theu get there.

In the next 5 years it wouldn't be too far fetched to see LSU have 4 r9eceivers in the top 10 salaries.

If Lacy continues his trajectory, he will very like be another first rounder next year. That kind of consistency is something nobody really cam compete, although OSU comes closer than anyone else.

No need to elevate anything when you play WR @ LSU with the top QB in the class. That will all take care of itself. Look at our guys in the league and their brand elevations.
