Curley has literally held khai Prean to zero catches in the first half!! Kid is easily a top 2 cornerback in the state!! St James have begun to move Prean around to the slot to get him away from Curley!! 5-6 attempts with zero completions.

How likely is it we flip Curley Reed to the good guys?

IMO we would only push if we whiffed on Toviano, which I don't think will happen.

He was of the corners I believe the coaches were slow playing because of his injury. But looking his highlights a few months ago I felt the kid looked better than a few we have committed now.

LSU offered Him after his Soph year in June of 21’.

Kelly re-offered in January of 22’.

He’s held an LSU offer almost 90% of the days between Summer of 2021 & today.

LOL. Not sure why he's going, but its not out of love.
He'll go there, they'll lose 7 each year, and he'll beg to get home....and end up at Southern or some shithole

Curley locked Prean up… LSU indeed slow played him which is why he isn’t considering them right now

Does he have relatives in that part of the country? Washington is a long way from home. Maybe he wants to get away but I like our chances if we really make a push.

Believe me it’s his loss. Hopefully he’s not more interested in legal weed than football because no Louisiana kid in his right mind would go to Washington to prep for a professional football career. He must have some issues to go to irrelevant school like Washington

Cool. He can go to a school on the descend and we will be competitive on a national level again in 2-3 years at worst.

The entitlement of some of the instate kids is laughable. Good luck in life with that mentality. Nobody is irreplaceable

I recall everyone shitting on this kid earlier in the cycle because of injury issues saying he "wasn't a take." The kid has always been legit, and is showing that right now. You don't let Louisiana kids out of the state

Have you seen the DBs that have come out from Washington? They aren't fricking scrubs. Since 2015, they have had 10 DBs drafted.

Kelly shouldn't have slow played him. It's not the biggest deal in the world but, don't get butthurt when Washington actually put in the work and believed in this kid's ability

Is he a smart kid?

Washington is a very good Academic School. Very strong in Business and Computer Science. Their medical school is ranked 9th in the Country. Very solid Engineering School.
