Exactly. Im thinking the high profile nature of LSU basketball next year could help both. Just like guys at Kentucky that barely play get 1st round grades, you could see the same with LSU players next year.

Possibly but LSU plays themselves into the tournament and they show well in both SEC (and vs top SEC teams) and NCAA tournament then it boosts their profile a ton. Curry, Lillard from small schools are examples but it could work same way. Those two are getting a ton of pub and if or once LSU hits the Top 25, it'll become a national storyline and their value will be much more well known.
However, even last year NBA scouts saw it in them and asked both to prove it another year. They are and despite what mocks say (the Top 15 is all these people ever know or care about), they are very much on the radar of NBA scouts.

I'm not too pumped up about a guy that's going to leave a school 1/2 way through the season and w/o even proving himself. Playing time issues or not, I can't get excited about getting a guy that thinks he's owed something b/c it'll happen again in some form or fashion. With that said, I wish him luck and if he wants to come home and be a Tiger, I hope he battles for playing time and helps us win some games.

He knows he won't get PT at Arizona... He went there to play basketball... If he leaves halfway thru the year, he can play halfway thru next year... It's the best way to get more playing time out of his eligibility. Don't know how you can fault a guy for that.

It's fairly pointless right now, but if Martin continues to play like he has recently he'll leave regardless of where he thinks he may go, because he's been playing lights out.
Mickey may go because he's reached his ceiling already, I saw him at #29 overall in the nbadraft.net mock today. Martin wasn't in that one, but go check another one like draftexpress and that has Martin at #44 and no Mickey. Walter football has Martin at #27 and Mickey at #30.
Places are putting them all over the place right now, but fact is if Martin doesn't calm down some from the way he's been playing, he's long gone. Mickey has been captain steady and has probably reached his plateau, up to him now if he wants to leave or not.

Victor has 2 or 3 first round bigs in front of him at Zona. They also are bringing in another 1st round big next season too who would play in front of him. It's no his fault he's not 1st round NBA material, he just decided to go to the wrong school for playing time.
Fact is if he comes to LSU he's likely our 2nd best big for next season (2nd half of next season) after Ben Simmons (assuming Mickey and Martin leave).

Is this fact or guess?

Why Tulane when he came down to Arizona and LSU with his college decision?
He could start next season for us.

Correct. Top player from a tournament team who leads his conference in scoring? That + NBA size and atheleticism? He gone.

Quannas and Gregg Holmes aren't the best of friends. Idk about all that.

Coach,
I remember some of your early posts about Victor. You were not enthusiastic about him solving our problems, as I recall. You were even less excited about Sample in your initial evaluations of his skills. I look forward to your evaluation of Ben Simmons. Wish I could go with you.

I've given quite a few of them. Simply put, best HS player I've even seen. He does not belong in high school. Too good.

This could be good news considering LSU starts classes on the 14th.
