Are you confusing Burch with Burton? Burton's mom is moving from Cali to Atlanta. Kirby doin work.

This Burton situation makes no sense. Why would a kid who was already committed to LSU change his mind AFTER LSU puts up an historic offensive season, and has a chance to win the national title? And especially, why flip to Georgia and their dinosaur offense?

It would be understandable if he lived there. But he's coming from California. I get it, "it's his life", yada yada, fill in the obligatory sanctimonious remarks involving "kids" and how we should never question them.

I'm not saying he has to do what I want him to do. I am just genuinely confused as to how he would see Georgia as a better option, for ANY reason.

I guess depth chart at WR might be a factor but, again... Georgia? It's hard to understand.

It is weird. I heard on ESPN they were saying Fromm needs to declare now bc he's regressing each year and his stock will go down if he stays.

Doesn't it seem weird that Burton's mom is moving to ATL but he is still listed as a commitment for us? Something isn't adding up with that scenario.

Not weird at all ... his mom is moving to ATL, the new second home to LSU. She’ll see him more there!

because... 'cruiting.

Much stranger things have happened.

And of course moms is moving back to GA, she's originally from there. She gets to go home AND see her son at an SEC powerhouse.

It sucks, for us. But nothing seriously nefarious there. I'm sure she's getting 'help' with the move, but there is a connection and a reason of why she would do it other than, or more accurately- in addition to, her son playing for UGA.
