I find it interesting that him and Durham are both committing on the 10th and LSU is the only school for both.

Out of the 3 we are the best team. I wonder if he wants the easy route thru the ACC, or the tough route thru the SEC? Or is it all about the NIL money? Not sure what Texas has to offer besides the deepest pockets and an easy year in the Big 12 before they move over to the SEC.

Two LSU mods on On3 moved crystal balls to LSU after this weekend.
I have a 24/7 membership and went to the longhorn site and their mod posted this morning he would be shocked if he doesn’t pick Texas from everything he’s heard.
Someone will be wrong. May come down to the biggest check.

Texas is known for putting insane pressure on instate kids and playing dirty in those cases.
I wouldn’t put anything past them as evidenced by their tactics related to Coach Lindsey’s medical situation
That’s truly a pretty low bar to set but they’ve managed to do it.

They can use that as a negative tool but the kid/families mind is already made up. If anything, it says more about the type of people there that will be mentoring your kid.

I really hope Ovie Oghoufo had a chance to talk with Simmons. He’s been a part of both programs as an edge player, so he can see first hand which program does a better job of preparing you for the NFL. I have no doubt he told Simmons about our professional culture as opposed to the shitshow that goes on in Austin.

Well they also speculate that he’s been a silent verbal for a while now to Texas so the DL coach wouldn’t even come in play.

I really don’t see he and his family staying for an extended visit at LSU last weekend if he was already a silent commit to Texas.

Tend to agree but some of these kids might just be smart enough to soak of the remaining moments of being courted like a king on these visits. And I wouldn't blame them for one second.
