Glenn Logan is always forgotten for some reason.

My bad. He’s a solid guy, too.

So if the jr.s leave

If all the juniors leave no coach can keep up with that. Not even Saban. They won’t all leave, Nancy.

I disagree. The 2019 dline was much better than 2018. And 2020 will be much better than 2019 (assuming two of the three juniors stay).

I was the one on this very board back in the day saying Bennie Logan was better then Chris Davenport. I got blasted by everyone. Bennie just had that fire, never going to quit mentality that you can not coach.

I do not know Braxton personally but I do know his dad. His dad was one of the best basketball players I have ever seen. He was built like an NFL tight end. Dude was a man amongest boys for sure.

This type of players go unnoticed every year by slipping through the cracks. Usually its the fault of the high school coaches not getting their players name out for them or at the very least telling their parents how they can help get their kids name out to college coaches.

That's not enough for a two deep with quality guys rotating. That's enough to have starters. Put it this way if we can get Sop or another quality DE to go with what we have and coming in 2020 we would be much better off.

All DLman aren't ready their second year and some even their 3rd year. The more quality players the better chance we will have at a solid two man rotation at every position along the DL. We should be all over Texas and Miss looking for hidden gems while also trying to land the big names as well. Maybe they are? Idk but I do know that in our system this position is the most important position. It allows the rest of the defense to do their jobs at the highest level without having to be superman.

Once we get these quality players, the staff needs to get on them immediately with what's expected of them while here. If LSU and this staff wants to get back to winning at the highest level then expectations need to be raised. On the field, off the field, weight room, practice facility, running, lifting, eating right, and most of all drills to get them into peak shape while gaining strength and quickness.

Maybe we can start RSing more so that when they come in, that first year is to get them into shape and set the bar. We also can't have our future OT prospect smoking weed in his off hours. Just put it down for your future for goodness sakes. Here's to hoping we can get this all done quickly.

DE
Breidon Fehoko SR DE/NT
Rashard Lawrence SR
Glen Logan JR
Neil Farrell JR

Nelson Jenkins FR
Davin Cotton FR
Justin Thomas SO
Joseph Evans FR

If we can play Feihoko at DE that would give us a strong 2 deep, possibly elite. Get one of the young kids ready in case we need that 5th guy regularly. Try to add 1-2 more in the class. Not as dire as many feel. Need the talented top 4 to play to it. Think all 4 are NFL guys

NT
Tyler Shelvin SO
Dominic Livingston FR
Siaka Ika FR

Like the talent here. Hopefully Shelvin is ready so we can keep Feihoko at DE. Do our best to get Livingston or Ika ready but rotate Feihoko if needed.

OLB
K'Lavon Chiasson SO
Micheal Divinity SR

Ray Thornton JR
Andre Anthony JR
Dantrieze Scott FR
Travez Moore JR possible DE
Jarell Cherry FR
Marcell Brooks FR

The starters are top level guys. Need 2-3 of the depth to step up and show we can trust them to play. Really high on Cherry. We really needed to bring one in. Could lose 3-4 guys next year. Major priority for 20

ILB
Jacob Phillips JR
Patrick Queen JR
Micah Baskerville SO

Damone Clark FR
Donte Starks FR
Kendall McCallum FR

Only if White were to come back. Elite group if that happens, very solid top 3 if not. Phillips could challenge some AA lists. Depth and group as a whole is very young. Gonna need some young pups to step up. Maybe Taylor could message back. I think we could've used Dean a lot. Maybe circle back to Zach Edwards if a spot is open. Kid can play.

Overall this class isn't for 19 depth in the front 7. Sure maybe a kid or 2 just show out and contribute a lot but no need are really expected to play major roles. All the bellyaching is a little overboard and falling for the now instead of looking things through fully. We need to add kids to this class for the future.
