We do but you don’t waste a portal spot on a punter.

Singleton is who they needed to grab.

Anderson will be nice but has injury concerns.

All indications are that LSU reached out to him. But you can only sign a guy who wants to play for you. Ultimately, it's his decision. Also, as good of a player as he is, is he a little redundant for LSU? LSU has two sub 6'0 guys in Anderson and Thomas who showed promise last year (I think Thomas was really underutilized...even as a downfield WR. See the OM game). Hilton is still on the team and they just added Brown who is somewhat of a bigger version of Thomas. Anderson is a different WR than those guys. More in the mold of a CJ Daniels type of player.

There really isn’t a limit. They can definitely get one

Disagree. We already have three speedster, smaller type receivers for next season. Don't need a fourth. Would rather have a taller guy in Anderson over Singleton, no matter the portal player rankings.

That sort of makes sense, but if I could have 5 Ja'Marr Chases or 5 Justin Jeffersons I would take that over trying to mix up size and speed.

Give me the best, but I would happily take a bigger possession receiver as well.

That's not a smart way to look at things. So you will take a lesser player just because they have 2 or 3 inches in height?

I want the more explosive/better receiver. He was the guy at Georgia tech. That means the other team threw everything they had at him.

No, I get that. I was screaming for Sloan to get zavion Thomas involved more. He basically wasted he.

Sloan used him successfully out the backfield.a few times and then we didn't see that for the rest of the yr.

You clearly didn’t watch the Florida game. Gators punter 57 yards average zero return the entire game. LSU had 41 minutes of ball possession, but started every drive inside it’s on 15. Field position and a great punter is very important!

This is a nonsensical argument. If you had free pick of any players on any rosters to make up 5 WRs, you wouldn't get 5 Chases or 5 Jeffersons.

That Doesn't Exist.

Not after this portal haul. They ain't punting very often. The few times they do will be from around midfield so teh current punter will be perfect.

So what makes you think Sloan is competent enough to even come close to utilizing Singleton even if he came here?

He’d probably be another couple of end around carries or a couple short out route passes per game type of WR just like Thomas.

What I’m trying to say is Sloan is arse and desperately needs to be demoted back to QB coach and get somebody who knows how to utilize speed and talent.

Not Hankton

Uhh that's Cordae Hankton (assistant coach). He's the youngest of the Hankton brothers. I'm good friends and HS classmates with him
